'Mosques will take the unprecedented step of urging British Muslims to 'wear the poppy, rather than burn it' this week in a bid to counter claims of being unpatriotic.
Poppy stalls will be set up at around the country leading up to Remembrance Sunday in a move backed by government ministers and the Royal British Legion.

It’s fake! - Moslems don’t appreciate anyone else except their own...they will do this until they become the majority...just time and patience...
Tobacco. The old joke was to call up a smoke shop and ask “do you have Prince Albert in a can?” When the proprietor confirmed that they do, you’d say “well you better let him out!”
We used to pretend we were from the electric company, and call random people with a survey of their electrical devices. The last question was “is your refrigerator running?” After the party on the other end would answer “yes”, we’d say “well if you want to eat dinner tonight, you better get up off your @$$ and catch it!” Sometimes we would substitute “TV”, and “watch Johnny Carson tonight”. The good old days !

The joke goes something like that, if I remember right.
Many time we kids tried to ask the bowling alley if they had 10 pound balls. Never could we get through that entire question without cracking up and ruining it.
We were lucky; we had a fellow in our crowd that could pull it off with a straight face :) Thanks !
We used to “kind of” remember our vets in this country.
I remember memorizing the poem about “In Flanders field the poppies grow ...”
Our kids’ school invites veterans to n a memorial service on Nov. 11 but my dad lives too far away to participate.
