The problem-plagued ObamaCare website was shut down Saturday night for extended repairs, according to the Department of Health and Human Services.
Technicians have shut down HealthCare.gov during weekends since the site launched Oct. 1 but just for a few overnight hours.
The site went offline this weekend from 9 p.m. Saturday until 9 a.m. Sunday.

“extended maintenance”
Must be more than a lube job and oil change. Possibly a new set of rings and regrinding the valve seats?

I guarantee everyone that Roberts and crew didn't read anything in Obamacare other than a summary written as it's cover letter, written by the Whitehouse in it's oral arguments package.
That was the purpose of the 2,000 page long bill. Wordy cellulose as camoflage.

The maintenance which is in all regards is a redo of the system by piecemean patchwork. BTW, who is paying for this? Usually the company which screwed up the work would be charged for the rework but my guess is Ohaha has Google et al in there on an open ended cost plus contract with the federal treasury behind his order to fix it at any cost. This will end up as an over 1 billion expenditure to make it work. I have not worked in programming for over 40 years but my sense is I could put together a flow sheet in an evening and probably write enough language in a fortnight to cover 98% of the data needed to proceed to the insurance parameters. In fact, my blind cat could probably do it too.

Well, now that Sebelius has a copy of Websites for Dummies I am sure she will be able to fix all the problems.

It isn’t maintenance when the site isn’t finished and they take it down to work on it.

The regime has brought in gurus from RedHat, Google, Oracle, etc.
Because every floundering software mega-project needs a few more egotistical generals to inspire the troops.
LOL.

I am an agent but I am trying to avoid Obamacare.
The first “training” meeting I went to in Wichita was packed, and there were 3 identical training classes on the same day here, for just one carrier.
Lots of “wet behind the ears” young people were there, as well as insurance veterans like myself.
I feel bad for those who have little ideology, but saw this Obamacare as a way to make an income and support their families.
I laugh at those who have bumper stickers on their cars that say “I love Obamcare”.

like Maxine waters said “Obama KNOWS everything bout EVERYBODY”
this likely explains why even former stalwarts crumple under the threat of being exposed for who knows what.
weve all sinned...but few want those sins trumpeted around the world
NSA? you bet!
Obama has his own INSURANCE so to speak1

Please understand, there are a few in every State who became Agents precisely to sell Obamacare.
Yes, you are right, most of us understand that one of the purposes of Obamacare was to get rid of agents entirely. We tend to be conservative Republicans.
