I;ve read several of Lynne Chenwy’s books i got “Fifty States for my grand children. She came to Casper with Dick and I watched her very closely I admire her Page 84 of No Fences shows she really understands Wyoming and is very thoughtful wise woman. But mike Enzi should remain our Senator. not Not Liz Cheney from Washington

I do think her position will change. She supported the repeal of DADT and fully supported the state dept paying for gay partners before DOMA was struck down by SCOTUS.

She will become the Marco Rubio of gay marriage. She’s only against it now because she wants to get elected. She is the definition of GOPe. It’s a shame the way we keep getting fooled and manipulated by RINOs because they have no problem lying.

Never condemn a person, but condemn the act. The person I support must b willing to openly speak about homosexuality being wrong. I tell those I know who are homosexuals that I want to see them in heaven one day and God is very clear about homosexuality. There is room at the cross for all of us and He forgives all sin. In my opinion, we must start reminding people of this, our society is quite literally falling apart.

No satisfaction here, I promise. Honestly, I don’t have a dog in this fight as I don’t live in Wyoming. I assume you do? We must b humble at all times, win or lose. She could very well win, the people of Wyoming will decide.
My only issue was the homosexual marriage issue. It is a deal-breaker for me.

I would have loved to have seen Liz take out a Democrat in any state.

Liz Cheney is against gay marriage.

Liz Cheney is FOR gay marriage, and has been for years, as she has also campaigned to homosexualize the military, opposed DOMA and opposed a marriage amendment, and was never pro-life until for this election campaign.

The 2008 member of the Romney team, campaigns like Romney. rewriting history to make her something else for the campaign.

Do your research - Liz is the good daughter. She even caused a family feud by coming out against same-sex marriage.

You are the one that needs to be doi9ng the research, Liz Cheney has been pro-gay marriage and a promoter of the gay agenda for years, went 46 years with never being pro-life, and then suddenly 2 or 3 months ago, for this campaign, she suddenly announced, I am "strongly pro-life and I am not pro-gay marriage.", and the Cheney family played along to spread the word that it was a family dispute, it's called, Romney politics.

I remember when Carol O'Connor was accused of nepotism because his son was on the show In The Heat of the Night.

He said that was what parents do - they help their kids.

Whether you agree or disagree with Liz, I won't fault her parents on this one - they're just trying to use their hatred of Cheney to hurt his daughter and they know that the Right doesn't care much for anything homosexual so they get to beat her from both sides of the aisle.

You seem to have a lot of angst against the Cheneys and their affiliation with Wyoming considering you live in Missouri......

I can remember a lot of people weighing in on Todd Akin when they didn't live in Missouri so I don't feel too bad about opining on what goes on in other states.

When I said ‘her mother’ I meant Chelsea Clinton’s mother. She was a carpetbagger too.

single deal breakers have cost conservatives many an election. Social issues are a concern but mean NOTHING if we are a bankrupt third world nation with a jobless rate that would embarrass any other ‘civilized’ country

I am always intrigued by people who honestly believe that God will allow a country to financially prosper while they become Sodom and Gomorrah. It will not happen. Your wallet will not become fat as the morals of our country are left in the gutter.

I like Liz Cheney but not Bill Kristol. His political judgment is often incorrect. After all, he told Dan Quayle to “go ahead - spell potato!”

Born Madison, Wisconsin. Graduated high school in McLean, Virginia. Colorado College and U Chicago Law. Working in Washington most of the time since.

Does that make her a carpetbagger? Maybe, maybe not. But if she's elected and her constituents see how she votes, you can bet "RINO" and "carpetbagger" will be words you'll hear a lot here.

You can't spend that much time in Washington and not have something rub off on you. I am curious though: will somebody ask her about Obama, who was teaching at Chicago Law when she was there?
