In that report, Jones found that Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoint screeners are receiving training to prepare them for the possibility of a mass shooting at one of the agencys airport checkpoints, and those TSA personnel are being instructed to save themselves should a shooting occur.
One TSA worker told Jones, Every day when I arrive for work, I look for an escape route in case someone opens fire. We have been told to save ourselves.

I'm shocked.
I'm outraged.
He must be crazy.
Was he a Muslim?
Real American don't do that.
That's not the way to handle this.
None of these were said on Lexington Common in April of 1775.
If so, they are idiots. How exactly are unarmed people supposed to be able to protect them?
Now if armed guards ran away, they'd have legitimate ground for complaint.
Sure wasn’t.
According to the Examiner blog.
That headline! Bad enough they think of saving themselves, but they also shock the passengers as part of policy?
This. Quoted for emphasis.
This is Barry’s “fundamentally transformed” America. It’s every man for himself. You have to learn to defend yourself and your family. No one else is going to do it for you.
Transportation Self-Protection Agency.
yep!
TSA agents aren’t law enforcement officers and are unarmed.
There was absolutely no humor intended.
Hell, let ‘em run away, just don’t arm those morons.
Only problem is the cops wouldn't necessarily know the brave ones weren't the shooter and would probably shoot them.
It's lucky there were armed cops there, and sounds like they risked their lives by engaging the shooter but got him. It's unusual to take them alive.
Well, if I’m at the airport and something starts going down I will save myself and do nothing for the TSA thug. He will be on his own.
True. Their job consists solely of creating the densest possible concentration of soft targets available in any airport.
A terrorist bomber in the middle of the serpentine queue would maximize the total number of casualties he could create in a single event on US soil.
I tried to join the TSA back in the summmer of 2006 when I was unemployed. I went through the application process, did the x-ray tests, etc, and heard nothing back. I joined the Air Force in early 2008 and went through basic, technical shcool, etc. I was home on leave after all of my training in Sept. 2008 when they called back. I politely explained that I was no longer interested as after six months and several part time/temp jobs I had moved on. The dumb-b on the phone proceeded to have a demeanor change that took her into the realm of indignant, and the unspoken message I picked up from her tone was one of disgust because I wasted HER time.
I have no respect for the TSA, I treat them with polite contempt when I go through screening, because I always have all my ducks in a row when I travel. FUTSA.
