He possessed anti-government views. And this is why he was working for the Government?

Oh, perfect. “Anti-government views.” We all know where that’s heading.
Naturally, I expect to learn through non-MSM sources that he was a registered Democrat.
To: HangnJudge
I think they are backing away from the “He was TSA” story.

Sounds more to me like he was anti-TSA. Someone is anti-government and he shoots TSA agents? This is laughable, why didn’t he shoot his postman?

If you like your anti-government views, you will be able to keep your anti-government views. Period.
If you like your freedoms, you will be able to keep your freedoms. Period.
No one will take them away. No matter what.

Thanks for the hard facts / link. Sounds like a disgruntled employee settling a vendetta, or a relationship entanglement gone south... the sad thing is the hysteria factor. A ROP provocateur would have been far more successful (deadly) and all of us can breathe a sigh of relief that it wasn’t so.

"They believe he had anti-government views based on the material he was carrying, the officials said."Heck, that could be anything. A copy of the Bill of Rights? US Constitution? ... I will be curious to hear what were these 'materials'...

“Anti-government views” = “anti-Obama” in the mind of the current occupier of the White House.
Expect this to be milked to the max for political advantage.

I remember flying into Heathrow once (in the 1970's) and they had tanks on the tarmac for some reason.
1970's....IRA bombing campaign. Tanks on the tarmac and security forces inside with machine guns.

I was just in that terminal this summer. You have to clear a ticket checker before you can go up the escalator to security. The last time I had interaction with TSA on that upper level, I first had to wake her up.
There is a report that when the shooting started at least one gate agent ushered passengers out onto the tarmac. A solid decisive action that may have saved some lives.

It would be odd for him to ask someone if they were TSA if he were one.

But it would fit in perfectly with the, “He Had Anti-Government Views,” meme.
Convenient!
