Blather.
There’s a poll at that link (next to the article) that needs Freeping.
very well stated
some here criticize him, but he hits the nail on the head in this explanation with explosive precision
let them spin this, in their dreams
the cat is out of the bag
he nails it
Well Kraut better tardy to the party than no show.
My money is on subterfuge. *SIGH*
Right on target “blather”. He nails it.
Blather
If that is what you call it, but he makes a complex argument sucinctly and understandable
if you can and have done the same or better I complement you as well
room in this circus for many clear heads who can clearly articulate
some are convinced by one argument, some by another
already convinced, his arguments would have convinced me were I not
There’s a problem with the poll. If you check “yes” the submit button doesn’t highlight.......until you click the “no” answer.
Oddly enough, the other day I posted on a thread that the three main characteristis of Obama himself were incompetence, cronyism, and narcissism. Build an administration around that kind of leader and you’ll get just what Dr. K described.
What...is this supposed to make us stand in awe of Krauthammer?
It really is comical when folks hold this idiot out to be an intellectual.
“mendacity”...”subterfuge”
I swear I’ve heard Republicans use more euphemisms for “lie” lately than I knew existed.
You underestimate Krauthammer. He’s one of the best.
I think there is a 4th pillar- not sure how to quite capture it.
Among lifelong democrats I know, blue collar, railroad types whose families have always voted dem ( because they’re for the “little guy”) there is this sense that somehow healthcare is embedded in the Constitution under the “general welfare” clause.
I understand it’s not an Article, but they don’t. Implied rights, like privacy (which goes out the window with nobamacare, btw) must abound in their world.
obama is attempting to appeal to this warped tradition- he thought he could hold the working class union-types in lock-step with national healthcare.
Todays Opinions poll
Will Healthcare.gov's issues cause long-term political damage to President Obama and Democrats? No
59%
Yes
You voted for this
41%
11477 people have taken this poll.
Euphemisms? Not hardly.
“He figured hed get away with it.
And he did. Simple formula: Delay, stonewall and wait for a supine and protective press to turn spectacularly incurious.”
So why are all the pols and pundits so afraid to simply say Obama lied?
Ah, but the Pharisees and Sadducees read his columns, and attend many of the same cocktail parties I suspect.
He’s not rowing against us, at this juncture.
