Since Ben Bernanke has been in control of the Federal Reserve, inflation has increased 43 percent more under President Barack Obama than George W. Bush, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Inflation can be defined as the overall general upward price improvement of goods and services in an economy, the Bureau said.
By evaluating the Consumer Price Index (CPI) data, increases in inflation can be evaluated.

Well that settles it, Bernanke must be a racist.
This is a nonsensical article. First, it is comparing the total inflation for 3 years under Bush/Bernanke (2006-2009) with the total inflation for 4 years under Obama/Bernanke (2009-2013). Second, it disregards that there was no inflation in 2008 because of the financial crisis (there was actually a period of deflation for a few months in late 2008 into the beginning of 2009). Taken together, this is a meaningless comparison (and that’s being generous).
If you don’t ever buy fuel, food, insurance or education then inflation is indeed really low. If you only buy computers, tv’s and clothes you’ve got it made.
if you buy ammo and guns you’ve seen inflation and price increases.
I think its time to revive Carter’s Misery index to see where we are at.
