Lots of people, including NBC, are leading with the fact that his job approval is also at a new low (42/51), but thats less interesting to me than his favorable rating. Of course his job approvals in the tank. How could it not be? Hes tangled up in the NSA dragnet again, hes still smarting (as is the GOP) from public bitterness about the shutdown, and hes got a five-alarm political fire on his hands from the dual failures of Healthcare.gov and the if you like your plan fiasco. This isnt even the worst approval rating hes had in polling lately: YouGov pegged him at 44/54 and last week Fox News had him at 41/53. Hes lucky hes not below 40 percent. Yet.
His favorable rating is more significant to me because thats not so much a measure of a politicians performance as it is his likeability. You can think a guys doing a crappy job but still sympathize with him personally. Os been underwater in WSJ/NBCs job approval polling before he had an especially bad stretch in late 2011 but the public continued on balance to have a more favorable impression of him than an unfavorable one. Theyve been on his side, even when theyve when theyve been unhappy with the results. But not anymore:
The NBC/WSJ pollsters argue that no single reason explains Obamas lower poll standing. Rather, they attribute it to the accumulation of setbacks since the summer allegations of spying by the National Security Agency, the debate over Syrias chemical weapons, the government shutdown and now intense scrutiny over the problems associated with the health care laws federal website and its overall implementation
And for the first time in the survey, even Obamas personal ratings are upside-down....

Means nothing. He might go into a funk because people do not think he is as lovable as before, but his power and control of the government remains intact.
Even “South Park” just ripped Obamacare a new one.
National emergency.
Where’s the internet kill switch?
The Dictator is crying all the way to Oval Office!
I think the closing of the WWII memorial and the parks showed Obama's vindictive side and we're not going to forget that.
There is a lot of respect for the WWII vets and you don't treat hero's like that.
In a parliamentary system, the executive, i.e prime minister, NOT President, would be out. Here, whatcha gonna do about it? Nothing.
RESIGN
I don’t want to burst anyone’s bubble but it’s only because there’s nothing on the line right now. If it were election time, you’d never see them utter a critical word, never.
So where is the opposition? This is the time to shout from the rooftops that slavery was also “law of the land”, to call for civil disobedience, for civil rights marches, as the decision whether to buy something or not should be civil right, to call for Americans to boycott this monster, where is the opposition?! Oh, never mind, I forgot that we don’t have opposition parties, like Italy, France, Japan, Poland, etc, and that it’s that way by design!
Don’t worry it is coming soon. With Ison coming, watch for a event staged or natural but this would be the “never let a good crisis go to waste” moment for the Little Nazi wannabe.
“I think the closing of the WWII memorial and the parks showed Obama’s vindictive side and we’re not going to forget that.”
And furthermore, we should not forget those with the Park Service that were his enablers. It’s time to do away with National Parks, and all the “Feral Land” in the Western States that the Feral Government took as bribes for “statehood.”
And even O’Reilly, who prides himself with being so even-handed and objective, mentioned the “impeachment” word tonight on his show - he thinks Obama can’t come back from this Obamacare fiasco.....
And even OReilly, who prides himself with ...

... everything.
Sorry, but his arrogance is so loud that it deafens my ears to all he says.
I just talked to my half brother (I’m adopted, we didn’t grow up together) who is NOT a FR type conservative in any way, shape or form. He says the people in Denver are hotter than a Bessemer furnace about all this, especially Obamacare. No one has a full-time job and their payments are skyrocketing. He refuses to sign up at all.
He’s like the old style movie magnate on a first date with a young starlet. “Well, enough about me, what did you think of my last picture?”
Exactly! Lol!
But, seriesly, there’s no personality trait which repulses me as much as arrogance does.
:-)
True. I get the feeling NBC is trying to build cred so they can be trusted when they trash Cruz leading up to 2016.
