Hanoi Jane said that Americans would LOVE Communism and want to live under it if they only understood what it "really is".

With taxpayer subsidies so embedded in everybodys plan purchasing decisions, taxpayers have a legitimate interest in ensuring that health plans serve the public interest, not just private interests. WTH is this idiot talking about?

Stock Marxist vanguardism. You really don't, you see.

When you're fired or laid off from your job, you're not really losing paid employment, you're simply being helped to
transition to your next job.
It's all in the messaging.

Now these insurance plans that people can sign up for through the healthcare exchange, are these plans offered through private companies? Or are these government run programs? And if these plans are through private companies, are these the lousy companies that no one in a free market wants to buy insurance from? And how are their earnings now? And who are their investors? And if they are government run programs, how in the world will this ever be afforded? It won’t. I’m suspect that in MA at some point in the future, probably when Duval Patrick is out of office, the RomneyCare miracle will turn out to be like the Dukakis-Miracle that wasn’t.

It is a feature of leftist hubris that they always know what’s good for people better than people know for themselves.
We’ve seen it for decades in the abortion industry, where accurate information about abortion is withheld from prospective clients because it might influence them to make the wrong decision.
Why should we expect any different when it comes to leftist control of health care?

Nothing new here. It’s the same old argument that has been used by Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Mao, Khrushchev, Ho Chi Minh, Pol Pot, etc.
