I don’t know what the problem is. i’m sure everything Bloomberg does is to strengthen the Christian middle class and promote freedom.

What this really is is destroying Colorado's flat tax and replacing it with a graduated income tax and at the same time imposing a huge tax increase. They are trying to sell it with lies about how all the money will help kids in the classrooms. Not.

It's a Democrat gift to the teachers' union.

Colorado Springs was a great place in 1981….Moved from NYS…and paid way less in taxes and better schools…..In fact property taxes were 600 dollars for twenty years…The Californians move in the 1990s and ruined it…left in 2001..

Gee, and I thought that Colorado had been “Californicated.” The Gates are from Washington State, and we all know out from under what rock Bloomberg came. And then there’s Chickenpooper, who was born in that place with the Biblical name, Nazareth, PA. Looks like Colorado’s “help” is coming from outside the state, but none of the big names are from CA! Just how can this be!

“Only two weeks ago, Hickenlooper urged out-of-state gun control activists (read: Bloomberg) to stay out of Colorado elections.

“Colorado is a state that people like to be themselves and solve their own problems,” Hickenlooper told USA Today. “They don’t really like outside organizations meddling in their affairs . “

Despite this advice, Hickenlooper thanked Bloomberg and the Gates family for meddling in Amendment 66.

“Our deep thanks go to Bill and Melinda Gates, Mayor Bloomberg, and all of our Colorado donors for supporting Amendment 66,” Hickenlooper said in a written statement.

Seems to me maybe Chickenpooper threw a few Dem under the bus.

It seems to me that Colorado Republicans need to start beating the drum for a referendum that would somehow “block out of state billionaires from trying to buy elections.”

While it would likely not be possible to do so, it would make a good platform to attack the Democrats.

Hey (m)aggots, you’re rich enough, you fund the CO teachers unions yourselves if that’s what you want.

"Few would vote for 66 if they knew what might happen to the money, which cannot be protected from pressure to backfill the state's financially troubled Public Employees' Retirement Association."

Very important to big government interests and their desire to regulate against the rights of others. More income for them means more time and money to control local and national politics in the future.

We don't resent the well-deserved fortunes of Bloomberg and the Gates family

We don't??? How can a person try to pay off idiots to vote for tyranny over me and other good people deserve anything other than a lamppost and a rope?
