On Tuesday’s broadcast of Hugh Hewitt’s radio show, MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough hammered President Barack Obama for what he called lies during the sales job for his 2010 health care law.
Scarborough was asked by Hewitt if he had any idea how many people would ultimately lose their health care coverage because of that law. Scarborough replied by saying many more Americans would be impacted by that law than what then-President George W. Bush had said in his 2003 state of the union speech regarding Iraq trying to procure yellow cake uranium from Niger.
“I’m trying to figure it out right now,” Scarborough said. “Somebody thought 10 million, 11 million. This morning we were talking about it and you know, you had administration officials coming on saying it wasn’t a big deal, but it’s a huge deal. I mean the president — especially and I talked a lot this morning about it — I asked Mike Barnicle this morning, ‘How many people actually sift through the words of a state of the union address and allows the president of the United States to say something Lisa Myers found out last night, several members of his administration knew about and the president knew about?’”
“I mean for the president to deliberately mislead millions and millions of Americans in a state of the union address certainly seems to me to have as much impact or more impact on the day-in, day-out lives of millions and millions of Americans than the 16 words George Bush is crucified for saying in the 2003 state of the union address.”
Hewitt pointed how some left-leaning pundits have openly admitted Obama lied, to which Scarborough said they didn’t have much of a choice.
“What else can you do?” Scarborough replied. “You know, I asked everyone this morning — a lot of White House reporters this morning, what’s the White House’s spin? I asked Chuck Todd, what’s the White House’s spin? He said they don’t have one. It is such a deliberate — it was such a flagrant lie when you’re telling people they can keep their insurance policies if they want to. Now I had a lot of people, a lot of conservatives last night, tweeting, interrupting my Red Sox game, tweeting saying ‘why didn’t you guys report about this a couple of years ago?’”
“Well, I think we all knew this was the case, that the president and the administration was misleading the American people,” Scarborough continued. “What was new with Lisa Myers’ revelation was last night was it had three or four people that were actually working with the president who said the president knew at the time and let them know at the time that what he was saying was not the truth.”
Hewitt went on to ask if he thought Obama knew at the time he wasn’t telling the truth about Obamacare.
“Of course,” Scarborough replied. “How could he not?”
Yeah What’s up with her? Has the FNC slid further to the left?
I missed that one.
And oh yeah, Obama can keep his Scarborough.
“It was pretty obvious he was a deliberate, flagrant liar before he was elected as Impostor-In-Chief.”
Latest WH spin is that “only” those 5% who are on individual polices will be affected. That’s not true either. Major corporations are starting to send out change notices to their policies. And, in a year, when the corporate exemptions, unions, other friends of Obama’s exemptions expire it will get really interesting. Sadly, even if the GOP should get really lucky and win the WH and take back the senate the damage done will not be able to be undone. And, that’s what the Dem’s are counting on. Their solution to this mess will be national single payer coverage for all - except themselves of course. And so, there you have it...

We should be grateful this ideological whore left Congress when he did, he was en route to the Senate where he could’ve done some real damage.

Unless Joe slept through the past 48 hours, Valerie Jarrett is throwing caution to the wind and allowing her ideas to be attributed directly to her (they were always her ideas but credited to her ventriloquist dummy). Her latest, desperate gambit is to blame the insurance companies i.e. the 'private' businesses that were press-ganged into working for Uncle Sam.
This is akin to passing a 15 mph speed limit then ticketing motorists for driving too slowly.
On the bright side, we're getting closer to near-universal use of lie/liar/lied. Liberal media outlets are being dragged kicking and screaming, of course...the LA Times is going with 'promises' for now.
Obama has a classic narcissistic personality disorder. He is a congenital, serial liar. Here are the characteristics traits of Obama’s propensity to lie.
When dealing with a narcissist, you face one major problem, and this is the narcissist’s attitude towards lying.
While the majority of people will have learned that not only that lying brings about devastation and destruction, it ultimately leads to total isolation and loneliness. This is, it hinders any sincere communication and hence the narcissist will find her/himself increasingly on the outside and excluded.

When dealing with a narcissist, extreme care must be taken and events need to be recorded. It also is important to communicate with others who have to deal with the narcissist in order to counter-act splitting. This is, the narcissist uses lies in order to set up people against each other. In general, this is quite simple: The narcissist tells a person A that person B doesn’t like person A and the same the other way round. This then prevents A from talking to B and hence both parties can be manipulated through the narcissist’s lies.
While a normal person will be embarrassed when found out lying, not so the narcissist. The narcissist will see this as a threat to their sense of superiority and will straight away think of ways of how to overcome this threat and this is by forming new lies.
To say it in one sentence: For the narcissist lying is fun and a tool, and anybody who doesn’t lie is a fool in the eyes of the narcissist. Trying to communicate with a narcissist is therefore pointless. This is the problem congressional leaders have had in negotiating with Obama. They say he isn’t honest in his dealings with them and reneges on his word as soon as a deal is imminent. He can’t be trusted because of his narcissistic personality disorder.
