Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is getting hit from both sides in the aftermath of the government shutdown -- and the latest volley comes from conservatives in the Kentucky contest.

The Senate Conservatives Fund, which endorsed McConnell’s GOP challenger Matt Bevin earlier this month, is launching its first TV ad since officially wading into the race, and it charges that “McConnell helped Barack Obama and Harry Reid fund Obamacare.”

“Conservatives asked Mitch McConnell to lead the fight against Obamacare. He didn't listen,” the 30-second ad says. “Now Kentucky families are paying the price. Premiums up, lost coverage, even lost jobs. When Kentucky needed Mitch McConnell the most, he let us down. Now he’s asking us to give him six more years in Washington?”

The $330,000 ad buy from the group’s super PAC arm, Senate Conservatives Action, will run statewide on broadcast and cable stations from Oct. 30 through Nov. 12. It’s the second SCF ad targeting McConnell, founded by now-Heritage Foundation President Jim DeMint. Before the shutdown, they had launched another TV ad urging McConnell not to back down from defunding Obamacare.

What was the reason given for not using the usual method? A right of way problem?

It's good that they have started early to ditch the biyatch Mitch.
I know here on FR that profanity is frowned upon but some people deserve that name.
The truth to be told and if most were honest, even some of your greatest preachers still cused and said bad words... it's just ? it wasn't done around other people.

Eunuch Boner needs to face a military veteran with spine and guts who can tell it like it is.

It’s good that Rove will have to spend money to counter the ads being run by real conservatives.

That was a interesting post. I live where there are a lot of dams (WA state) but I have never taken the time to learn how they were actually built. Makes sense to divert the river if you are not in a densely populated area.

No reason given that I saw, but I assume that avoidance of building and tearing down a temporary dam could result in faster constructions time, lower expense and less disruption to river traffic.

Obviously in this case, their technology failed to deliver.

Had this ever been done before? If not, the Ohio is a mighty big river to play with. God, why does the corps keep digging these money pits?

Thank you for your honesty.... but making me feel better was not the point.
Most in society put on a false mask while they are in public in which they hide behind and don't want people to see the real them.
I don't care how pious the preacher or person is, once they are out of the public's eye or people's eye ? they when they know the real them and their integrity.
That's how God wants us to be with him, stop putting on a show and pour out your real heart and you upon him.
But isn't it funny how they would chastise you for saying one foul word around them or in church ? but yet ? they would look a blind eye on the poor or someone in need ?
Or ? they would frown upon foul words, but yet ? if they were to see their own hypocrisy and pride in their own live ? they refuse to see or think it's nothing.
