I think I read an FAQ on that because I was trying to find out about coverage out of state. Ex-Pats are exempt because they are considered out of network. Now for my issue, since Obamacare is county by county, I am out of network most months of the year because we travel extensively for our occupation. So if I get hurt out of my county, I am out of luck! Yeah! Way to Go! My carcass has to be hauled back to my county before I can get treated under Obamacare.

In 1989 we went to the US for the summer to visit family and friends. We were out of the airport just a few hours when our oldest daughter fell off a swing set and broke her arm. I can actually see having problems at that point with some *&^%$#@ hospital flunky at the admission desk telling us “Well you are back now and you should have signed up”

Granted that is a rare problem but happened to my family.
