We now know that millions of people will lose their existing health-insurance policies thanks to Obamacare. Already hundreds of thousands of people have gotten letters from their insurance companies letting them know theyll lose their coverage. Millions more are bound to get similar letters, particularly when the small-business mandate kicks in. They should also get another letter, however. And that letter should come from the GOP, either from Reince Priebus or, better, from their local GOP representative, senator, governor or whichever local politician makes the most sense. And that letter should, without stridency, hyperbole or annoying appeals for money, explain to them that this is exactly what Obamacare was designed to do and precisely what Republicans predicted would happen. If I was writing it, I would say something like, The president vowed to you on numerous occasions (see attached document) that you could keep your insurance and that you would save money under the Affordable Care Act. This was untrue. Whether it was a well-intentioned mistake or a more deliberate deception, what the president and his party told you was flatly untrue, and we said so at the time.
I then might go on to promise something like the party will do everything it can, within its power, to alleviate the burden the Democrats have imposed on you and the country. We are of course limited by the fact that the president and his party control the agenda in Washington. If you think were due for a change, wed love your support. If you think these changes are good for you, your family or the country, then obviously we politely disagree. If you think as we do that theres got to be a better way, we hope youll give us a fresh look.

Excellent advice — especially the part about sending such a letter WITHOUT a fund raising appeal!
Wise men don't need it.
Fools won't heed it.
We're due for a change but the GOP ain't the answer. Same animal, different stripes.
I don’t know about this. It sounds pretty extreme. Somebody might say that sending letters critical of Obama is racist. It could alienate the independent voters (that Romney won), blah, blah, blah, insert other weak-kneed nonsense that explains why the GOP never does anything like this.
If the roles were reversed Dems would be trodding up on TV victim after victim who had his/her insurance cancelled recently due to not being compliant.
Considering the GOP caved recently, thus allowing Obamacare to go forward, their criticism now looks pretty pathetic to me.
The GOP never listens to advice unless they’ve paid Karl Rove $173,368,231.48 for it.
The post office would probably lose all those letters
It has to start with the headline “This is NOT your father’s Democrat party”
And the leading paragraph should add that among the current Democrat Party leaders are many who are also members of the current Communist party.
there are maybe 5 GOP members that really want to stop Obamacare, actually it might be closer to 2 ...the rest of them are hoping to win an election one day so they can get their grubby hands on all that power ....
there is no way a political party, that actually cared about stopping a law, could be so inept in seizing on the opportunity this disaster of a law is presenting, so all it tells me is they don’t want to stop it or repeal it or anything else ..
the bastards would rather sit around with a bunch of billionaires and scheme on passing amnesty to drive the final nail into the coffin of the country... and once that’s done ...nothing else matters
Yeah but mcconnell and the gop/e have declared WAR on the TEA Party and not on obama or obamacare or even the dims. Do not look for solutions from the republican leadership. They are aligned with and owned by satan, inc.
I don't know if they can resist it. I am SO sick of their stupid "surveys" that ask totally stupid questions and then they hit you up for money.
I don't know why I'm even registered with these people.
I agree. And the inceessant phone calls! I recognize the area codes, and I just never answer any more.
No, no, no, NO! Two paragraphs are too much for the low information voter. How about:
“Like your health care? Vote Republican this time - - Democrats LIE!”
