Washington Post columnist George Will said he wants Obamacare to fail, pointing the impossibility of controlling one-sixth of the economy with central planning after his co-panelist Juan Williams declared Republicans did not want the law to work.
Williams accused Will and his other co-panelists on this weekend’s “Fox News Sunday” during the show’s online-only “Panel Plus” segment of “schadenfreude” in voicing their reactions to the failure the HealthCare.gov launch.
“[Y]ou know, I just think there is a lot of schadenfreude on the panel this morning,” Williams said. “ And people, ‘Oh yeah, you know, isn’t it terrible — oh my gosh, Obamacare is having trouble.’ Come on, Republicans don’t want this thing to work. That’s the bottom line here. That’s the reality here.”
Later, Will predicted the demise of Obamacare and said he wanted the law to fail for fear of how it will further change Washington, D.C. as the central focus of power in the United States.
“Oh, it will end,” Will said. “Because in fact what they’re trying to do is micromanage one-sixth of the American economy. What we have learned throughout the 20th century is in fact the micromanagement, central planning of complex societies doesn’t work.”
“I want to assure brother Williams that there is no schadenfreude because I’m not even pretending to be sorrowful,” Will continued. “Of course I want Obamacare to fail, because if it doesn’t fail, it will just further entangle American society with a government that is not up to this. For 100 years, Juan, the narratives of progressives from Woodrow Wilson on, is that progress will come if and only if we concentrate more and more power in Washington, more and more Washington power in the executive branch and more executive power in the hands of experts — disinterested experts such as those who designed HealthCare.gov.”
He can always go to work for ZERO.

Damn good question. And there are plenty of examples.
One could start by parading out the check-in agent in Maine who didn't want to let two of the 9-11 hijackers board the flight there because she had a reasonable suspicion, but was overruled by her supervisor because they didn't want to profile.
As I recall, these two connected up with their buddies in Boston who crashed that west coast bound flight into the World Trade Center.
Now that 300 million Americans are being secretly spied on by the Rouge Marxist Obamanation Administration, there are thus 300 million Americans that do not trust Obama.
Is this massive distrust enough for the US Congress to hire a Special Prosecutor to investigate this National Security Spy Apparatus?
What more does it take for our gullible, lethargic RINOs to draw up the Articles of Impeachment for Obama?
Do they not realize that the RINOs are in control of the US House of Representatives?
They have the Partisan DUTY to be a “Check and Balance” by use of their duty to Impeach a Constitutionally offending White House Resident.
Now that 70 Million French Citizens, and like number of German, and Spanish citizens have been spied on by the Rogue Marxist Obamanation Administration, there are well over 100 million European Citizens who do not trust Obama.

Should Impeachment Proceedings begin in the US Congress to Impeach for Dereliction of Duty “B. Hussein Obama,” aka Barry Soetoro, a legal citizen of the Sovereign Nation of Indonesia?
If the American Citizens do not trust Obama, and our main European Allies do not trust Obama, then what more is the US Congress waiting for before starting Obama Impeachment Proceedings?

It is the perfect “I know nothing” do-loop designed for gullible, jelly-spined, Red Ink, Congressional, Democrat’s Republicans such as Susan Collins, McCain, Graham, McConnell, Cornyn, Boehner, Cantor, Ryan, and New York’s Peter King.
Link Democrats to Obama’care,’ and maybe the Low Information voter will remember that it was the Democrats that wrote it, voted for it, and then it was Democrat Reid shut down the US Federal Government in 2013 to keep it from being defunded by cowardly, Cave-In, Congressional RINOs.
The Democrats have wanted this ultimate-control, Marxist Law for nearly 100 years, and now that the Democrats have rammed it down our throats we Conservatives must see to it that the Democrats are clearly held responsible for the great harm that this failed Law has already done to America.

God bless DVR & TIVO because I rarely watch these shows live and can loop forward when a blowhard pipes up. There must be a media registry containing the names of appropriate dumbasses and they are obligated, somehow, to place at least one of these beltwayblowholes into every program. It’s like Dilbert’s “department of no information”.
