I guess Obama found out about it in the newspapers again, just like everyone else.

Gosh and golly, he’s right on top of things, isn’t he?
You’d think that the decision whether to bug the personal phone of a friendly head of state might be something that a President would be asked about, wouldn’t you?

Really? Do they really expect us to believe that? Something that high level, with that much potential for national-level embarrassment and harm to international relations...(now being realized)
So we're to believe obama isn't in control of his intelligence services? He is either lying or incompetent or both. Since it is obama we're talking about the lying a given. The only question is the level of incompetence and outright stupidity in international relations.

I guess that means Obama is comfortable in his undisputed ignorance and total lack of influence nationally and internationally.

(*sigh*) It used to be called “plausible deniability”; now, it’s “we don’t care if it’s plausible or not; we’re just shooting for deniability—sort of!”

the US has been tapping the chancellor's phone since 2002, and Mr Obama was told in 2010. She only took office in November of 2005. did we start tapping her phone 3 years earlier?
