Retired Army Gen. David Petraeus will be the guest of honor at 11 a.m. Oct. 31 at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center at 321 S. William St.
Petraeus is a "hometown boy" from Cornwall that former congressman Ben Gilman takes pride in being the official who appointed to West Point, where he became an honor graduate. After his military career, Petraeus served as director of the CIA.
His visit is hosted by a group of business leaders led by philanthropist Bill Kaplan, who is a friend of the general and proud of his service to our nation. The public is invited.
For information, call the center at 245-4035, where Deirdre Glenn is the executive director. Kaplan is chairman of the center's board of directors.
Topic of Discussion: How I traded any shred of my integrity to have sex with an average looking woman. Then betrayed my countrymen by lying about Benghazi.
Tough crowd! V’s wife.
Why would anyone want to hear anything from Petraeus or hundreds of other liberals for that matter?
Petraeus feels dirty...
Congress was probably given a lie about why Petraeus 'had to' lie. Then a lie to cover that lie... he feels dirty.
Petraeus feels dirty... anyone else get that feeling?
