I’d be guessing they are trying to up Christie’s % of the minority vote by a little bit, so they can spew that talking point when they foist his fat ass on us in 2016

Will this REALLY offset the conservatives they are begging to leave the party? I don't think so.

What a waste of money.
It would have been nice if the Republicans had reached out to the Conservatives a bit and supported Steve Lonegan for Senate. That was close enough that a bigger effort might have won it, and that effort certainly would have carried over to the November elections. As it is, I'm sure that they've pissed off more conservative votes than they will win among the Hispanics in Jersey City or elsewhere in the state.
Maybe antagonizing the Lonegan supporters is why they have to pick up a few new voters in Jersey City.

The point is this is what the GOPe would rather spend money on, since they don’t spend any to help conservative candidates

We need Conservatives to explain to them WHY we’re conservative, and why it would benefit them to vote for conservatives. I used to be a democrat and considered myself to be liberal. It wasn’t until I started to actually pay attention before I became conservative.
