The government micromanages what it legitimately or otherwise regulates. What’s the news? Have you looked at the text in your right view mirror lately? Read food, medication, mattress labels? There are always “legitimate “ issues to do it, like the 16,500 yearly deaths in this case, that many think should have been preventable.
Your argument, again, about the ownership of your body, repeats the argument of the abortionists, which they invented. You bet nobody used that kind of logic before!
They have, but they're quite obviously wrong. Abortion involves a second, genetically distinct body.
Even so, we don't "own" our bodies, but neither does the government.
If they can tell what you can't take, they can tell you what you must take.
But we know that already. We've been brought there by the "we have to do something" crowd.

As a medical person if I should ever obtain membership to one of those government ‘panels’(FDA?) then you’ll understand if a group of us medical ‘elites’ decides for the good of society that you and some select others no longer warrent further medical intervention for whatever ails you, that’ll you be accepting. Further, since we as knowledgeable elites(certified by the government) in our field determine that pain relief via narcotics, say hydrocodone, would be of no benefit to you we graciously prescribe you a modest size stick to bite on. I mean you seem so accepting of government micromanaging. Oh ya, I worked for government for over 25 years and am VERY familiar with the ins and outs of ‘regulations’.....uses and misuses.
