Remember President Obama promising "You can keep your Health Insurance"? Well for over 1 million people that is no longer true, they have lost their health insurance directly because of Obamacare.
Over half a million in California were told their insurance was going away due to the Not-Affordable Health Care Act. Hundreds of thousand lost theirs in Florida as well. This is repeating over and over in the states. And the Media, wishing to promote Obamacare, is being forced to cover the losses.
Why aren't insurance companies continuing the coverage? It is simple, the Obamacare regulations have made it impossible to provide the low cost insurance most young folks prefer.
And it is the Young that are going to be pissed off!
They knew the launch would fail, but it was more important to get it implemented and some on the program, and committed before the truth came out. When people lose their insurance, they don’t have any alternative but Obamacare.
on my own i went looking for comparable plan (similar deducts and out of pockets...those are the costs that i am finding to replace but at even those costs the plans offer less

Medicare for you will make a huge difference in what you will pay for healthcare costs if Obama doesn’t muck that up too. You will be left with the costs for a supplemental policy. Medicare pays for 80% of healthcare costs after deductible, your supplemental pays 10% after deductible and you pay the last 10%. Sounds to me, after reading AT&T literature, they’ll give us some supplementals to choose from at that time. If you hit Medicare before 2015, you’ll be fine.
My supplemental pays the last 20%. I believe most of them do.
what if medicare wont pay for certain procedures that one is required to take as a result of an illness and the supp did? now ya gotta find another supp who doesnt want to...so the fee is jacked up???

Sounds like you're saying my 65 years old wife is a "bottom feeder" after working her whole life and paying into the system, and now has to pay over $100.00 a month now to keep her medicaid just to keep what she already paid for.

Yes, the purpose is Socialism or outright Communism where the government tells the citizens what to do (how much salt and sugar they can eat) verses the Freedoms we have known.
If only the useful idiots knew that Communism has to eliminate them (either directly or via concentration camps) or in socialism to completely marginalize them (persona non-grata).
The longer the mainstream press can hide the ultimate goal, Socialism or Communism would succeed. But the trouble is the fact that we bloggers know too much and the mainstream press is being forced to admit too much.
My prayer is that the truth about the Progressives goals for Socialism/Communism through this Obummer of Healthcare would wake up the American Giant, would throw out the bums and useful idiots and break these flimsy chains.
It will take some repentance and turning back to the Lord. As the Progressives goals are spiritual as well - the enslavement of the nation to sin and spiritual bondage.

If your wife is 65, she should be on Medicare not Medicaid.
She is probably on Medicare and that is where her $100+ per month goes to.
As of now, those of us on Medicare are escaping the bullet of ObamaCare.
My wife and I are on Medicare and have paid for it since it was put into law long before we became eligible.
The difference between Medicare for your wife and my wife and the rest of us on Medicare is we have paid for it before turning 65, and we still pay for it each month.
My wife worked until she was into her 70’s. Besides her $100/month premium, she paid for Medicare in salary deductions as well as her FICA deductions each month.
The frigging bottom feeders flocking to sign up for ObozoCare for their new Medicaid probably have never paid a penny and probably never will.

The big question here is “if Obama doesn’t muck it up too”.
Someone is going to have to pay for the bottom feeders as they flock to sign up for their new and free or subsidized ObozoCare.
If we don’t derail this frigging train, we can kiss our Medicare $’s and insurance goodbye to pay for the bottom feeders.
That may come really quick if we allow millions of illegal to become bottom feeding citizens.

Then, throw in those of us, who had their primary care doctor retire or will retire at the end of this year to avoid this frigging mess..
Younger docs are getting into concierge medicine, and many others are telling their patients, on 1 Jan 2014, they will be strictly concierge medicine. They are warning their patients not to wait too late to sign up. Patients will have to pay up front to join. That means there will be more money out of the Christmas spending pot.
You’ll be amazed at the number of physicians who are retiring and who are cutting back. Just about all of the ‘older’ ones I know are doing so. And those who still have children in college are planning on cutting back as soon as their kids graduate.
These are the work horses of their groups. The young physicians are more likely to work directly for the hospitals. They’re not accustomed to the long hours and they turn their pagers off at 5pm and on weekends.
I will not be visiting the O'care site anytime soon.

This stuff is so complicated. My wife was a head RN for a family practice group for over 30 years. She is a great resource on this stuff.
She is the person in our family, who checks out our MediCare Bills, status and when I should pay and how much.
I handle the retirement investing, withdrawals, bill paying, refi stuff and other banking/financial stuff.
Have a good day and stay away from the ObamaScare sites. They are a hackers wet dream re getting personal data to steal funds from the unsuspecting.
i AM counting you. docs retiring because of obamacare is part of that number.
