I don’t have any thoughts about what the bible has to say. I don’t consider it at all.

As far as the orbit being a guess, no. Scientists are very aware of orbital mechanics and we have super computers to crunch the numbers. If they knew it was going to hit the Earth then I doubt they would tell us. There would be nothing we could do about it anyway. Something on that order has happened at least six times in the past, wiping out almost all life on the planet. It will happen again. As long as it doesn’t happen again for the next 300 years I think humanity will be assured survival when it does happen again or by then we will have the tech to stop it. Worrying about revelations is just as silly as worrying about the Mayan calendar ending in 2012.

worse...... Revelations has no science at all. The Mayan Ca lander is developed from astute observation and accurate calculation.

I believe that Michelle Hopkins has analyzed the "HOW" of the Comet Ison's orbit
and applied that to the POSSIBILITY of the fulfillment of Revelation first three Trumpets.

Whether she is correct is yet to be seen,
but she has taken the time to clearly explain just HOW the orbit intersections of Comet Ison's inbound debris trail with Earth's orbit,
as well as HOW Ison's outbound debris tail being blown by the Sun's solar winds might intersect the Earth's orbit starting the 1st of December 2013 and lasting through January 2014.
That's an unusually long time for our World to be in the sights of "Shooting Stars".

Yes, but comets do not follow strictly Newtonian orbits. Because bits that boil off through vents act like little random rocket engines, they are deflected out of perfect orbits. This makes their exact position unpredictable.

That being said, ISON is not likely to smack into Earth even under the most extreme deflection.

I’m not going to comment on the veracity of the original post.

HOWEVER, *IF* the ptb’s found that we were going to be hit by some comet or asteroid in a ‘Lucifer’s Hammer’ scenario I have no doubt they’d suck us dry in taxes to acquire the funds to save THEIR sorry a@@es and leave us to burn up.

No doubt in my mind at all.

So, where has all the money gone. We’re 7 or 8 TRILLION dollars MORE in debt than we were 6 years ago. Where did all that money go? And for what?

The most obvious problem with ISON is that it is not a solid body but likely an aggregate mix of hailstones and gravel. The projected course takes it under the Roche limit distance at perihelion. Meaning my opinion is that it has a very good chance of breaking up into buckshot of unknown size and scattered along its exit vector.
