Just now on Bloomberg TV
used to be, then those darn easterners/californians brought their plants with them, lol
we had several inches of rains in two weeks, and i never have seen so much mold pop up, all over
Heads up! We’re about to see if CMEs trigger EQs. It’s been kind of quiet EQ-wise and now one the largest CMEs in some time is hitting the earth over the next few hours.
Yeah....we shall see!
I’m disappointed in the proton density though - maybe they’re predictions were off?
Lol ...you are talking Greek to me....but keep me informed!
Must have slid past. The Sun, what a tease!
I must have downed almost a bottle of saline wash in my nose. Where it went, no one “nose”. ha
Seriously, it hurts just to breathe. Inhaling a natural (mint/menthol), homeopathic nose spray, the afrin kind of spray (4way spray), two 15-minutes of steam, hot wash cloth on the face, lots of benedryl, and two air cleaning machines going, one the blue-light-mold-killer-germacide from Sharper Image, and nada.
I thought steroidal nose spray was coming OTC. It’s like some kind of nasty poison in the air. (not the stench from O’bomber care, something else.)
thank you, i really like that tracker
Yeah well looks like the sun woke up so we shall see in the future@!
NASA has raised the plasma density level above 40 on the second pulse from the X2 class due to hit earth tomorrow around 2 PM. We’ll see. Kind of weak though and still quiet quake wise except around Indonesia.
"WEAK IMPACT, MORE TO COME: A CME swept past Earth during the late hours of Oct. 26th, but its impact was weak and did not spark significant geomagnetic activity. Attention now shifts to Oct. 28th when the first of the CMEs from last week's X-flares is expected to deliver a glancing blow to Earth's magnetic field. NOAA forecasters estimate a 20% chance of polar geomagnetic storms."
California, except for the usual suspect quakes has been quiet. Calm before the storm?
Just saw a 5+ off Honshu Japan. Quiet along active faults means sooner or later they’re going to let go. The longer, usually the stronger from what I’ve seen. Especially in periods where seismic activity worldwide seems to be on the increase.
thanks for the heads up. this borrowed netbook hates more than one screen up at a time. i’m still trying to fix my laptops that broke. :(
What’s wrong with them? Have you tried Linux mint for a better operating system that needs fewer resources or virus protection??
it’s the power supply on the chromebook,
and the toshiba satellite, needed some kind of “update” during the month i had not used it.
it was fine on july first, then at the end of july, turns on, won’t reload. of course, it tells me to reload the disc.
What disc?
i need to get my butt in gear and email toshiba.
i tried going through google for the chromebook problem, and their problem solving consisted of: do you have your chromebook plugged in? (duh!) is your power cord connected? (duh!)
they passed me off after those two really helpful questions and told me to contact acer. it’s above their pay grade i guess.
sent acer a couple emails, have not heard back at all.
need to get on their butt.
meanwhile, one of my kids lent me his old, gateway netbook.
my android tablet bit the dust also.
this netbook started to have problems and we kind of figured out it’s the old wiring in this house. i also need to figure out how to ground myself. i’m in a constant state of static here in my hallway home. i’m electrified. (not kidding)
That's not good and could be dangerous! Better get a friendly electrician to check it out. As a kid, I ran into a TV antenna that wasn't properly grounded. All I remember seeing before I passed out were arcing blue lights! lol
That would be an excellent idea.
