I didn’t know these types of car washes were allowed anywhere anymore.
Besides the soap runoff problem - they also waste water. My city has banned these for many years now.

Let’s see they have outlawed Phosphorus and every other chemical that actually works at getting something clean so what exactly is the problem this time?

If the car-washers were boys, Obamatollah would grant an exemption.
Especially during Ramadan.
Especially during gay pride week.

Anything that is not storm water or rain water is considered a pollutant, said Jennie Loft, acting communications manager for San Joses Environmental Services Department. If it goes into a storm drain, that pollutant will harm wildlife and habitats in the creeks. The Boys Sports teams should hold a Mass Wizz into the storm drains.

The mental image people generally have of totalitarian government is something like Aushwitz or Kolyma or the Killing Fields. Some time before that final solution stage is reached we get to “Simon Sez” government wherein you may do nothing without explicit permission.

Some of the oldest translated text was “he took abundance from abundance and there was still abundance” Today, the anti-hum crowd fears the abundance of earth and lives lives of unhappiness.
I know the architect of the universe would not allow this and the creator, that started this planet spinning in a perfect spot in the universe to create what we have would never care about 1 or a million car washes.
It is the hubris of man and governments to play a God they do not understand and believe that he created will be here long after these people have gone and not enjoyed their time here.

Disclaimer:
I live in Texas. We are in severe drought conditions. Every city has Stage 2 water restrictions. You can’t water your lawn except once a week. And it must be before 10:00am or after 6:00pm.
Stuff like that.

Besides the soap runoff problem - they also waste water. My city has banned these for many years now....Soooo..the city is getting a kickback from the car washes in the area, right? Or haven’t you looked into that? Somebody pays for the water, the the soap is, by regulation, biodegradable and what is the problem?
