Ted Cruz Goes On Offense - “Complete hogwash” says Texan of critics.
The American Spectator ^ | October 25, 2013 | Jeffrey Lord

Ted Cruz is unbowed.

The Texas Senator, speaking at The American Spectator’s annual Washington gala Wednesday evening, was nothing if not resolute in his attacks on the disaster that has become Obamacare.

“Should we have fought this fight?” he asked, his resounding yes coming by way of citing the differences between the way the disaster of Obamacare is perceived in Washington and out in the country. “If you get out of Washington there’s no ambiguity” on the question, Cruz said.

“This thing isn’t working. It is a disaster and a disaster that is hurting people right now…. On the merits Obamacare isn’t working.”

Cruz came out swinging against his GOP Establishment critics in the Senate and elsewhere, and was fearless in taking on his critics. Saying among things that when his opponents in the GOP said their disagreement with him was on “tactics” — and he asked for their tactics — the response that came back was the sound of “crickets chirping.”

I think its time forva commercial or discussion on TV with real people and what they have experienced with Obamacare (and 0’s destruction of the U.S.). I think it mght be effective if the Commie stations dont stop it from airing...

> obama is such a turd that he didn’t want his enemy {that’s us folks} to win any points and so is the guy that would cut off his nose to spite his face {in his case it’s ears}.

Better have a really sharp knife or you’re going to be cutting for awhile...: )

If I were Cruz I’d wear gloves and bring my own food and water when iin Washington. The king is not too fond of Cruz at the moment. I’d also use throwaway phones becase you KNOW 0’s minions are listening...

Bingo.

I agree 100%.

And I mean it. Accuse the dems right back, of everything they’ve accused us (wrongly) about.

It is the key to winning once again.

You have to wonder what the hundreds of thousand, maybe even millions of people that had their insurance canceled, are thinking and feeling. Where do they go as of 1/1/2014 they will have no coverage, physician uncertainty etc. They are not only Dems; but Repubs and Indies.

Fortunately I have coverage through my wife. Otherwise, I would be in their shoes, with a chronic condition that costs far more to treat than virtually anyone could pay out of pocket.

Yeah, the Communist-in-Chief is for the "little guy."

Count me as one of those. A few months ago, my physician informed me that their group would no longer be taking any patients with insurance. The plans they offered were of little use, since they were clearly aimed at people who went to the doctor more than me. Figures, I had finally found a doctor I really liked, and even though it was a long drive to get there, it was well worth it.

And then my plan will vanish as of the end of the year. I browsed around the list of plans available (I didn’t log in, so I know that the plans listed were an underestimation of the actual price), and I will be paying double the cost, and get nothing really other than catastrophic. Maybe I will be eligible for deductions, but I really don’t want to use the exchanges, if for no other reason than they are clearly a security risk.

I have no idea what I will do. Probably just pay the penalty, but I don’t like the idea of having no coverage.

Then, in Stage 4 — pick off vulnerable Democrats.

10 Dem senators urge HHS to extend enrollment deadline

GOP idiots in the Senate that didn't support Cruz and Lee need to be primaried.
