In any event, this is in a huge city in Southern California, I don’t even see how this is newsworthy at this point. In that part of the nation, reporting stories like this are tantamount to reporting that today, the sun came up and the sky was still blue. Don’t know if that is true for, say, Texas or any of the Southern and Midwestern states but it sure is for Southern California.

Forget the "racial animus" crap - I think he should claim sexual discrimination.

I defined Southern California here as anywhere from the Bay Area on down - that whole region of California has had serious issues with out of control, rights violating police for decades now.

Many, many people, especially young people, of Mr. Little's demographic, and especially in areas such as the incident took place, are lawless gang-members.

But it appears that many FReepers are happy to take and believe his accusations are face value because, simply they don't like cops.

True, but in terms of how out of control the police are and how civil liberties are treated as a joke in that whole region of Cali, it is still one and the same. But you are right that I should have said Southern Half of California so as not to imply that I am simply lumping the Bay Area together with the LA Metropolis area.
