Software Expert Slams Healthcare.Gov On MSNBC: ‘This Really Shouldn’t Be That Difficult’
Newsbusters ^ | October 24, 2013 15:50 | Paul Bremmer

"I don't know why they made it so complicated. This really shouldn't be that difficult. This is the automation of a paper form onto a website and then it's supposed to do some look-ups to calculate subsidies. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't provide health care. It doesn't even provide insurance. It's applying for something."

Later, Chung eviscerated CGI, the IT company hired by the government to develop healthcare.gov: “This was built, I think, by people who were never paid before to create software. I think they just got out of school or something. You know, these government contractors, they win these contracts and then they're incentivized to deliver the cheapest people possible to meet the minimum requirements.”

Which begs the question, exactly how was the company selected?

Government/socialism can never work

leave us alone government

government = unaccountability = socialism = tyranny = poverty = slavery

Evidence of government “accomplishments” : public housing projects, public schools, USSr, North Korea, global warming hoax research etc.

capitalism = freedom = private property = prosperity = opportunity (SOUTh Korea, Sam Sung, toyota, Apple , walmart, sub way , fed ex etc.)

They donated $22k to Obama’s campaign and got a $290 million no-bid contract.

That’s how they were selected.

That, and they are of the tribe that the current administration favors.

It ain’t “Rocket Science” - its simple order processing. Amazon does something like 20 million orders a day ...

Put in your info, system looks it up to verify ID [on several databases], look up quote once verified [from provider databases], present choices to customer. Then hit Accept on one of the choices to check out ...

Pentagon has, so I hear secondhand, prescribed a new acronym for SNAFU. It is now FUBB (fouled up beyond belief). I guess the idea was to stop cynically assuming normality for foul ups, though in a sense normality is correct, this whole creation is SNAFU’d through sin. (While the bible doesn’t spell this out theologically, I get the sense that with the partial angelic rebellion came an automatic deterioration of the creation the angels were charged with watching over. Except for one part, man, which was given an unspoiled oasis and given a choice. And chose wrong. But was then offered the incredibly gracious chance to be heroic soldiers in God’s fight against those evil angels.)

Theological digression aside. Yes it is a SNAFU/FUBB. Except this time I think the curse is so bad that it’s going to grind this abomination to a halt.

Well, remember this isn’t business which has to swim or sink. This is a government that thinks it’s God, that it can raise a staff and make the waters of software complexity part by ipse dixit. No it can’t. But it will continue to think so and that folly will keep on miring it down. I think software is going to prove to be the O’care Waterloo.

They want your information up front so they can see how you voted in the last election. Then they can lower or raise rates depending on whether you voted “correctly.”

This guy better be careful. He is committing heresy. It is verboten to criticise The One. I am surprised MSNBC didn’t string him up.
