"...young women will see their premiums rise by an average of almost 200 percent under Obamacare..."

Probably that free birth control kickin' in.

I get sick every time I see these dummies with their “I LOVE MY OBAMACARE” bs.

So it’s the under 30’s that voted for this idiocy. Welcome to your nightmare ass holes! Perhaps now you’ll try and learn something about history and economics?

They voted for the increase, so no sympathy here.

The irony of it all is that, once they realize that it isn’t free or cheaper than it was previously, they’ll opt to pay the penalty.

Death spiral...

The problem is that you can't insure things that are almost-guaranteed expenses. You still end up paying (through insurance) and everyone in between profits. Besides that, demand goes up because people who would never bother getting medicines and checkups etc do so because "it's free".

Insurance is supposed to be for somewhat unlikely events that would be devestating if they were to occur. It's supposed to be cheap enough so that it's better to pay the premium than take the risk.

How come I learned this in Economics 101 but people coming up with this stuff are clueless? At the very least, the program should not be mandated. Let people make their own decisions and (I'm sorry) die in the streets if they can't afford the treatment and didn't get the insurance.

It's what we used to call survival of the fittest.

The “media” will set about directing them to believe this is Ted Cruz’ fault, especially among the single women, because they could never entertain the idea their surrogate husband Obama could be at fault.
