RE: Huh - what happened to Law Of The Land?
That got throne out the windows when Obama unilaterally delayed the Business mandate for a year with nary a peep from the media, no one filing a suit, and most of the rest of the nation yawned and got back to their TV sets.
So the legislature does not make laws, this dictator does.
His law, sees it going to crap, ooppss , sorry gone to crap and now makes yet again another new law to his law.
Still there are people out there saying socialist health care is good. WOW
“But it was not immediately clear Wednesday whether the adjustment to a cornerstone of the Affordable Care Act would need to be approved by Congress or could be done by the Department of Health and Human Services administratively. “
why not just let homeland security approve it and do away with the pretense.
” are living in a lawless nation.”
Thats ok. Obamacare is a lawless law.
sign a law for a one year delay and make every democrat defend the exponential increase in costs in 2014.
It will be Ted Cruz’s fault. ( i see a pattern)
They can’t delay these penalties. ObamaCare is “the law of the land”. (Which makes me ask, do you have to comply with this commie BS if you live on a houseboat in the middle of Lake Powell?). Hmmmmm.
Is this sedition?/s
Congress has no say in this I guess
Since Congress surrendered its powers to Obama they should go on back home.
I’m sorry to repeat myself, but I think we should insist that media reports about these payments refer to them as taxes and not penalties, because that’s what they are. The Supreme Court says it’s a tax, who am I to argue?
It might not hurt to remind our fellow citizens that they will be grappling with the IRS when they won’t or can’t comply with this oppressive law.
bump
They are all hopping a plane to a funeral... maybe something is planned?
It’s not a Penalty, it’s a Tax.
The Lords in the Black Robes told us so.
Gary Cohen, head of the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO), which is overseeing implementation of exchanges repeatedly testified to exchange readiness:
“CMS has been ... building Exchange infrastructure and initiating the many information technology (IT) and business activities needed to assure readiness for Exchange open enrollment beginning October 1, 2013.” (12/13/12)
“The progress already made and the foundations we have developed give us confidence that the Marketplace will be ready for consumers on October 1.” (2/14/13)
“Starting in October 2013, consumers will also be able to use www.HealthCare.gov to shop for coverage beginning in 2014...” (4/11/13)
“When consumers visit the Marketplace through HealthCare.gov beginning on October 1, 2013, they will experience a new way to shop for health insurance coverage.” (9/19/13)
“Consumers will be able to go online...they will be able to choose a plan and get enrolled in a plan on October 1st.” (9/19/13 video)
In August, Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, said, “ We are on target and ready to flip the switch on Oct. 1.”
He didn't bow to anything - he just delayed the penalty, not the requirement to sign up for Obamacare on a site that you cannot get into ...
I was poking lurkers in the eye with a half truth.
