U.S. House Speaker Boehner Says May Bring Up Immigration Reform This Year

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner on Wednesday held out the possibility that he might bring U.S. immigration legislation to the floor by the end of the year.

Asked at a question-and-answer session with reporters if he intends to bring up immigration reform this year, Boehner, a Republican, replied: "I still think that immigration reform is an important subject that needs to be addressed and I am hopeful."

Oh great - it’s impossible to find a job as it is in the Semiconductor field, as they use a huge flood of H1-Bs to depress wages.

My guess is that the real power brokers made three objectives crystal clear to Boehner, Reid, and Obama, to be accomplished by next year's November elections:
(1) employers will get out of the healthcare business;
(2) there will be increased H-1B visas for tech workers; and
(3) illegal immigration will continue.

because of his leadership position he is very good at playing both ends against the middle thus soliciting millions of campaign dollars and then hands it out to his RINO cronies who keep him in the Speaker position. The leadership in both houses of congress plays business and other donors like fiddles; they won't floor or pass any legislation until they receive the big payola. Unfortunately, the common citizen can't afford to play that game and that is why this country and its middle class are on a death spiral.
