In the Richmond area, I am seeing a lot of Cuccinelli signs, not many McAulliffe signs. Cucinnelli might lose, but it will not be near 17 points.

I saw way more Obama signs around here in 2012 than I do McAuliffe signs.

RE :”I saw way more Obama signs around here in 2012 than I do McAuliffe signs.”

I saw more Romney signs here this part of Maryland than Obama signs and Romney still lost this county.

Northern VA is like Maryland. but VA Beach has a hell of a lot of government jobs too.

Definitely not many McAuliffe signs, even in areas like Arlington and Falls Church, at least relative to Obama signs. This poll is off. McAuliffe will probably win by 6-8 points.

But in the longer term, VA is done as a Republican state, and as someone said in the other thread, it is becoming closer to MD every year. Tremendous enthusiasm for KC past Fairfax County, however, and somewhat heartening. We may regain enough strength at the state level for VA not to become as unlivable as the suburban MD counties.
