I saw way more Obama signs around here in 2012 than I do McAuliffe signs
Definitely not many McAuliffe signs, even in areas like Arlington and Falls Church, at least relative to Obama signs. This poll is off. McAuliffe will probably win by 6-8 points.
But in the longer term, VA is done as a Republican state, and as someone said in the other thread, it is becoming closer to MD every year. Tremendous enthusiasm for KC past Fairfax County, however, and somewhat heartening. We may regain enough strength at the state level for VA not to become as unlivable as the suburban MD counties.

I'm among those who were in denial of the political trends of Virginia... I still held out hope the conservatives in this state would be numerous enough to tip the scales... but the tidal waves of parasites from MD and DC, along with a massive influx of hispanics and Asians, have overwhelmed us.
I get it now... Virginia, my home for 18 years, is conquered territory.

(Obama is so far in over his head, even his ears are beneath the water level.)
