The comedian has been critical of the Obamacare website rollout. And with Stewart's young audience, this could prove problematic for the president.
There's an unlikely media hero for conservatives following the stumbled rollout of the Obamacare website: Comedy Central's Jon Stewart.
Stewart, whose topical political rants have made him a favorite among liberals, in recent weeks has been an honest and harsh critic of the Obama administration for its implementation of the president's signature health care legislation.
His latest show Monday evening is now making the rounds among conservative circles as a pointed takedown of the health care website's malfunctions and Obama's attempt to "polish this turd."
"Yes, apparently the Healthcare.gov website has 99 problems, but a glitch is all of them," Stewart said.
Several conservative voices, including The Blaze and Fox Nation, linked to Stewart's segment. It also received some Twitter attention from Republican groups, as well.
And two weeks ago, it was Stewart again whom conservative media hosts, pundits, and politicians alike cited after his interview with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius. There, Stewart asked several difficult questions of the administration official leading the health care rollout, including why a one-year delay was granted for some businesses and not for individuals. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, ok?

You may have noticed that all the Nigerian email scammers have become a lot less active lately. They all have been hired to run the Obamacare website.-Ted Cruz
Yeah, this kind of stuff makes me ill. A lib comedian cracks one or two (funny) jokes that go the other way, and all of a sudden he’s a “hero.”
He’ll still vote for any dem.
He echoed Ted Cruz last week as well — if businesses can get one-year waivers for Obamacare, why not individual consumers?
Conservatives are so hard up for “heroes” that we tend to get excited when someone in the media utters the slightest negative about a liberal. These “heroes” always turn back to their liberal BS.
Bingo.
If the Current Occupant now squatting in the White Hut (or “Spite Hut”)has lost the low-information audience of Jon Stewart, and perhaps even Jon Stewart himself, then the regime is in real trouble.
It is rather like how LBJ lost Walter Cronkite subsequent to the Tet Offensive in Viet Nam. Once Walter declared the US had failed in that engagement, the support for the Viet Nam engagement and LBJ plummeted to unprecedented lows. LBJ just ended up just walking away.
Jon Stewart will savagely attack Ted Cruz or some other conservative tonight. Bet on it.
Stewart is on record. He has always wanted the far left option -— single-payer.
Besides he's got alot of making up to do for untruths he's spewed in the past.
There is a rachel Maddow video on Youtube from a year or two ago where she slams Obama pretty good on his usurpation of authority vs personal privacy. And it was created before the boston bombing.
So they are not all totally shills. Just mostly.
Battered conservative househusband is grateful when liberal comedian takes a poke or two at someone other than a conservative.
Yeah, and if pigs could fly, we could shoot our bacon out of the air.
“Nigerian email scammers”
