Wow, Daltrey can’t be right, can he? Makes too much common sense for these days.

>> because they know they will get free treatment.
Technically correct, but not compelling for the ordinary.

no, it’s actually using the NHS that makes people unhealthy.

Big fan of Daltrey, both as a musician and as an occasional actor. He probably won’t win any Oscars, but he’s good in the right part. He was an absolutely hoot in a recurring guest role on the tv series Highlander.

What's up with these "conservative" rockers? Daltrey, Johnny Rotten, Joey Ramone, Clapton, and even Bob Geldof.
All have made "conservative" statements.
Hell even George Harrison took a poke at "The Taxman".
And from anecdotal reports, John Lennon was leaning conservative when he was shot.
It wouldn't surprise me if Keith Richards leaned right.
Have these guys "seen the light" or is it some passing fancy?

“It wouldn’t surprise me if Keith Richards leaned right.”
Keith can lean left, right, forwards and backwards all at the same time.

Watching his bandmates...yes. Daltrey was known for not getting all caught up in the excess drugs and booze...many of his contemporaries at the time thought he was “square”

I remember reading back in the 70's that Daltrey worked out on regular basis. Probably one of the reasons that he looks "the picture of good health" at the age of 69.
To: Nachum
Now 69 years old? Whatever happened to “Hope I die before I get old”?
(or maybe that was Keith)
