Government Shutdown Fuels House Democratic Fundraising

Democrats are already benefiting politically from the government shutdown -- in their pocketbooks.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee raised $8.4 million in September, according to an aide with the group, a significant sum more than a year before next year's election. The haul dwarfs the $5.3 million collected last month by the National Republican Congressional Committee, which was again out-raised by House Democrats despite holding the majority.

To date this year, the DCCC has raised $58.2 million and has $21.6 million on hand. The NRCC has $15.7 million cash on hand.

The run-up to the 16-day standoff, which began Oct. 1, had a big impact on the DCCC's September finances. In the six days after Sen. Ted Cruz's filibuster, it raised $2 million online on nearly 100,000 donations, according to a committee aide. In total last month, the group collected $3 million from 160,000 online donations, helping push it to the best off-year September fundraising haul in the DCCC's history.

Neither Senator Ted Cruz nor the GOP started the 'shut down'. That honor belongs to both Harry Reid and Barack Obama and the MSM for failing to report accurately the facts while allowing Harry Reid to lie, and lie again...Barack Obama kept up his vitriolic tirade against Americans who didn't agree with him about his Socialized Medicine....Senator McCain lay down his arms and joined the enemy along with Graham - all chastising a fellow American for stand up and for the United States Constitution and that is exactly what Senator Cruz was doing. God in Heaven help us if the will to fight for what is right becomes so implausible, the folks just throw away their rights to freedom and liberty for a fraud in sheep's clothing...Barack Obama.

Its not surprising. I don’t give to any of the main party funds. They’ve been proven they can’t be trusted nor to be impartial during primaries. I’m not going to give money so that conservative primary candidates can be shut out. I’ll give to the Senate Conservatives fund and others but sorry GOP. As long as you are more concerned about illegals than you are about citizens and can’t stand up to Democrats I’m not giving to you.

The Democrat took in more money than the RNC, but lets look at why from my personal standpoint.

I will not send the RNC one frigging penny of my money so backstabbing trolls and traitors like John McCain, Hatch ,Graham , Collins, Murcalowski (or whatever the Alaskan skunks name is), and various and sundry RINO pieces of scum can use it to sell me out.

Rove and his gang of cowards and progressive RINO’s can bite me, but they won’t get a dime of my money.

I suppose those who back the RINO’s will not give to support the heroic effort of Ted Cruz and Lee.

So what we have is a divided Republican party that is killing itself.
