One of the reasons that liberals hate self-defense laws is that it puts responsibility on them, as individuals, for their own safety.
Libs are all about putting responsibility on others or on the State.
The DemoRATS love people like Tracy Martin who they can use to push their liberal agendas. Think Tracy Martin to use to repeal Stand Your Ground laws. Think Sandra Fluke to use to get free contraceptives for all women. Think Cindy Sheehan for their anti-war push against Bush.

Actually Trayvon probably could have gotten away with that... What he couldn’t get away with was attempting to beat a man to death by hitting his head against the sidewalk.

I see some potential for amusement here. Counter her legislation with a different law that calls for enhanced penalties for the possession and use of purple drank and its variants.
It is not intellectual feebleness, it is a design by a pair of criminals to undermine the citizens’ right to self defense. Doing so will make racial crimes by blacks that much safer.

St. Skittles would have still tried to put the beat down on Zimmerman, only he'd have made the play for the gun first. Probably gotten it, too. Open carry in this situation would have been really bad.
Probably Tallahassee. The “capital” of FL. If he was where the Legislature meets, he was likely in the “capitol” building as well.
