What will all of you do with the mail they send to you asking for donations? For me and since they'll be paying for return postage, I'm going to enclose some monopoly money.
"You are finished RNC!"
"WE WILL DEFUND YOU!"

Y’all are getting postage paid envelopes? Not here. We just get big post cards that clog up the shredder.

McCain would have gotten us into WW III, so in a way, Im glad he lost.stormhill:
Much as I hated McCain, what with Palin and the support of Rush, etc. I put a clothespin on my nose and started cheering the ticket but the stench didn't leave. In retrospect, a Republican victory under those circumstances would have been disastrous for conservatives as it would have reinforced the idea that you have to be a "moderate" to win. The same is true of a Romney victory. There are some who refuse to see Romney as the danger that he was, in some cases he could have been worse than Obama. Politically, Romney is pretty much a clone of Obama; and yet there wouldn't be even the token "resistance" by the Republican party to anything he'd do (heck, they haven't been opposing Obama very much; so why should we take it as true that they would hold his feet to the fire
?).
Moreover, the 'plan' that the Romney-supporters were touting for dealing with Obamacare was dangerous, idiotically so: the issuance of waivers to the states would consolidate power to the Presidency where he could extort the States with a simple do what I want or you'll lose your Obamacare exemption.

From that article — The fact is, a conservative country doesnt accidentally elect Barack Obama twice.
See my post #44.

Sadly, alot of “Freepers” cheered for Romney.
Reveals and contrasts those who`ve read the Enlightenment, Federalist Papers, adhere to Natural Law with those who only believe in the GOP party.

For all intents and purposes, RomneyCare is ObamaCare.

I did expect the Republicans to fight for principle.
I would have settled for shut up and let Ted Cruz lead. Instead McCain and the rest of Karl's Roving Rinos out did the democrats in attacking conservatism.

Fake money for a fake party!
We don’t need a third party, we just need a second party.

There are some here on FR that still insist that conservatives MUST vote for the liberal republican in general elections.
Well, that was me at one time. I bought the “lesser of two evils” nonsense hook, line and sinker.
Reality's a bitch.
Sooner or later we all learn that. I'm so ashamed I supported Palin/McCain in 2008. Never again.

Yup. I jettisoned that mindset when the establishment forced a ringer for Zero on the Presidential ticket... not once, but twice. I only vote Conservative, not for Communists or Socialists/Surrenderist RINOs.

I've been doing this for years, but I now add that MY $$ will only go to strong conservatives like Cruz and Lee.
Let all of the illegals they want to give amnesty to, donate to the RNC ;-/
