Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said Thursday that he would not rule out pushing the federal government to shut down again in order to defund the health care law.

Oh I get it.
What used to be “American” businesses are increasingly Chinese manufacturers with zero exposure to America’s business climate.
Our business climate is plunging, yet Cruz is fighting against Americans in my opinion, by sticking with a plan which made sense only with full employment.
Bring back American businesses.
Grow American businesses. Then we’re in good shape.
But don’t fight insurance, when American businesses are leaving.
One or the other.
I say, or both.
I really do not get this opposition to insurance. It’s like a mob scene around here.
It is only the end of the first quarter. They must stay on offense.
Send a BUDGET to Reid and the Senate and press to get it passed now before Obammy changes the discussion - again
He’s consolidating his position for a primary election. I get it. He needs to be careful though. Attacking this beast with no intention of actually killing it is dangerous for him and us.
Reading comments on FR and other places, I am agreeing with a new political party and a name change to one.
Let’s have the Republican Party, liberal party and the surrender monkey party (or just the surrender party)
Of course not. Is Obama ever going to give up throwing himself into the government machinery required to make America at the very least, non-dysfunctional, as the infernal “monkey wrench” that he is relentlessly determined to be?
And even that pales in comparison with the damage the next big piece - immigration 'reform' - will cause.
If you care about American businesses you would support Cruz shutting down the government again and again over Obamacare. Nothing, and I mean nothing, will hurt (is hurting) the jobs sector like this piece of legislation. If you really care about jobs, you’d already understand that.
This is not about opposition to insurance, it is about opposition to obamacare.
It is a bad bill, a costly bill (which is not sustainable), increase the power of the IRS, controls one 7th of the economy.......how can you not get that.
What Shutdown? Was there such a thing? I don’t know anyone who even noticed it. /sarc
If Republicans were fighting for American jobs, I would agree with your approach.
The GOP is in China, and China is growing.
The Chinese companies are (all) owned by China. Don’t think they’re American, even though they are supplying American businesses.
Go in any store, and you will find row upon row of goods, all made in China.
Nobody is looking out for America anymore.
Bring back American businesses.
I wished he would have done another 30 hour filibuster before this last one and pushed this deal past the “sky is falling” default deadline - then everyone could have seen how much hokey that was also. The stock market was actually positive when it looked like there might be an imposed limit on our borrowing. He could have just read the bill and exposed the 3 billion McConnel project.
An excuse for Bammy to cancel elections and declare martial law for the good of the American people.
Ummmm, no Cruz. McCain has stated emphatically that there will be no more shutdowns. DOH!

You are missing the thousands of American companies that are built right here on American soil every single year. I work for such a company and we manufacture high quality, made in America products. Our company, like many others, are being crushed by Obamacare. You are too caught up in the ‘Chinese stealing our jobs’ to even see what I’m talking about. Like I said, if you care as much about American jobs as every single one of your posts claim , then you would support Cruz and his effort to stop/slow this law. Wake up.
I would (far and away) prefer to support Ted Cruz for his ongoing, tireless support of American manufacturing, than what he is fighting right now.
Just saying.
Cruz needs to fight for American jobs.
When the economy suddenly tanks under the load of an unsustainable debt, and it will, I think the Tea Party (and even a few in the GOP) are going to look pretty good as they tried to stop the train wreck. People will eventually realize that IMO.
The Democrats own a lot of brewing problems. They should be very nervous about it all unwinding on their watch.
Wait...I thought the Today Show told him that wouldn’t be nice?
