I was going to break this down into clips, but honestly it really goes well together. Levin starts putting the lecturer-in-chief in his place, then moves on to those who say we need to get back to governing and puts them in their place. Then he talks about Steven Lonegan, a principled conservative that got no backing from the RNC or the Washington elite and then transitioned to the Tea Party, who we are and what we are about.
Then he pulls it altogether and tells the ruling elite, whether it be Obama, Pelosi, Reid, or Boehner and McConnell, that the Tea Party isnt just hanging around, but that were going to defeat them, were going to crush them because the country depends on it.

Why do I feel like the USA after Pearl Harbor? We are fighting a retreating action with old style weapons against a determined foe armed with better weapons. But fight we must—to just roll over is unacceptible. After the cave in—the Death March of Bataan—I feel like all is lost. We lost that one, and we will lose more—but we must continue the war. We do not have the time to mourn our losses, we must re-group and plan the new advance in a new direction. The enemie will make mistakes, they are good at that, and the MSM is getting sick of pulling out their chestnuts from the fire. A chance to stirke back is coming—but we must think out side the box—think like they did with Doolittles Raid on Tokyo. A bold move that will change the dynamic.
What these past few weeks taught us is that the enemy is much larger than we imagined.
It isn’t just the Dem Party. We knew all about them. It is also half (or more) of the Rep Party as well.
It certainly isn’t time to give up the fight, but it is probably time to change tactics. Trying to bring about change from within a party that despises us, is likely a fool’s errand.
Agree with everything you say, jjsheridan5.
The battle is lost for now, but the war continues. A truly united, much smaller, opposition party is strongly preferred to the surrender monkeys we have sitting in DC right now.
It will indeed take a few decades, and many of us may not be around to realize the fruits of our labors, but it is a fight worth having.
In my travels I have encountered many confused individuals spouting crap that you would hear on MSNBC or are just plain clueless to what is happening around them.
After I take the time to “enlighten” then with facts, I have yet to see one change their position on anything. In the golden age of Information, you would think people would relish the truth, but they are too lackadaisical or simply indoctrinated in Leftist beliefs. The Horse has left the Corral. A mass explosion of knowledgeable common sense will never occur in this Nation.
So long as they have big screen TV, dominos delivery on EBT and Iphone, nobody cares.
There was value in the shutdown debate. It shed some light into some very dark corners.
But overall I agree with you. It is not a level playing field. The corrupt media is all-in for the Democrats. So conservatives must choose their battles very carefully.
The big story the last month should have been the pathetic roll out of Obamacare. The conservative message should have simply been this, and this alone: Mr. President, if you give an exemption to one, you must give an exemption to all.
The media could not have possibly spun that to favor Obama. It would have been a conservative home run.
Lol. I live in commifornia. We’re effed here. No ca help.
The largest enemy is the majority of the people of this country.... these are masses and masses of clueless people who have no idea what's going on, they have no clue how their Government works..... they have dumb down the masses and the culture has shifted away from hard work, integrity and faith, and now there are more people that realize they can "vote" themselves free stuff off of other people's work.
Yes, we are — and we’re going to enjoy it!
Lonegan didn’t get much backing from this forum either. The race was largely ignored here and when a thread for it did come up, most people suggested that he couldn’t win. If this forum can’t even get excited about a true Tea Party candidate and cheer him on then the fire of the Tea Party might be waning and 2014 is probably lost.
Shutup idiot.
If there were enough of us, yes.
We are a minority in a formerly great nation that has become a cesspool nation.
Correct, unfortunately. Hollywood and the Media have dumbed the nation down.
Yet again, Levin failed to name names, i.e., McStain, Linda Graham, PeeWee King, etc. Until Levin names names, IMHO, he’s only in it for the $. He & Rush should’ve been leadin’ the charge rather than leading w/fingers in the air. My disappointment w/Levin & Rush over the last 5 years (really, endorse Romney??!!!?? WT???) is breathtaking. They’re in a position to lead, yet, they lead from behind. Soooooo disappointing,
Then he pulls it altogether and tells the ruling elite, whether it be Obama, Pelosi, Reid, or Boehner and McConnell..Juan MC Pain, Paul Ryan, Aaron Schock Etc, etc ,etc
You’re kidding right? Or you haven’t really listened to Mark in ages. He’s been all over mccain, mcconnell, graham, boehner. Your claim is false.
