On Thursday, President Obama took to the White House podium to triumphantly announce the end of the government shutdown. In doing so, he proclaimed that he wanted to push forward with other legislative priorities, including a budget, immigration reform, and the long-stalled pork-laden farm bill. “[I]n the coming days and weeks, we should sit down and pursue a balanced approach to a responsible budget, a budget that grows our economy faster and shrinks our long-term deficits further,” Obama stated. Historically, “balanced” has been code for tax increases.

I believe boehner is leaving and will try to do as much harm as he can to the Republican Party on his way out the door.
Wonder if it has anything to do with the company he keeps.

Can't it not be taken up in the House the way Reid did not take things up in the Senate.
As people claim outrage, the voters (most of whom think amnesty is an outrage) will retire IMO pro amnesty people.
Pass that and IMO we are very much closer to a civil war.
It is not as if we are adopting a pet, these people don't pay for themselves and cost us huge amounts of money in every way.

Besides increasing the number of Dem voters, which will make them the permanent majority party, there will be a huge influx of foreign labor--33 million work permits over the next decade--that is almost 2 1/2 times greater than the 13.9 million legal immigrants who entered during the decade ending in 2010, which happened to be the largest number of immigrants ever to enter this country.
The GOP wants more guest workers. The current plan is to double the current number of 700,000 annually. These worker will take jobs away from white collar Americans. Over 20 million Americans are underemployed or unemployed. Why do we need such a massive increase in immigration? The answer is to continue the declining wages of our workers. The greater the supply, the lower the wages.
