A bomb in a mosque killed a provincial governor Tuesday in the highest profile assassination in recent months, part of an intensified campaign to intimidate Afghanistans administration as it prepares for elections and the withdrawal of foreign troops after 12 years of war.
The bomb killed Gov. Arsallah Jamal of eastern Logar province as he delivered a speech at the main mosque in the provincial capital of Puli Alam to mark the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha. The attack also wounded 15 people, five of them critically, said his spokesman, Din Mohammad Darwesh.

I thought that was a Neumann.
Or are Neumann and Telefunken the same company?
Anyway, I saved up for YEARS to buy one of those, and then lost it all.

I can’t tell if your joking or not, but yeah, it has been done over there.. Ahmad Shah Massoud was the leader of the Northern Alliance (more or less allied with us) and killed by suicide bomber with explosives in a camera.

short story idea.
politicians and any news person has to sit in front of shotgun cameras when speaking on air. the cameras are self-aiming.
viewers have buttons on their remotes that say “Shoot”. If enough people push their buttons, the shotgun camera fires.

Teleprompters need too much electricity, and even Kabul is unsteady
