I saw this happening since people started calling for big tent politics, since Bush’s first election. The cry was, “If we are inclusive, we can eliminate the Democrat party.”

Yeah? How’s that working out?

I called it the:

Super
Happy
Inclusive
Tent
...for brains.

(Take the first letter of the first four words, to see how I really feel about big tent inclusiveness.) I knew by getting a bigger tent, more clowns would come in, and those of us whoare real conservatives would be pushed out the back tent flap, and find ourselves in a pile of elephant poop.

Thanks for the kind words.

The house is Dad's, and is spectacular inside - 17 rooms - designed in 1939 and built in 1942. 2 x 2 car garages (attached & detached) are same stone. It's on 3½-acres on end of a cul-de-sac. Wine cellar is huge. Since I quit drinking 3yrs ago, I moved all custom wine racks and 800+ bottle investment collection (since 1981-82) to Dad's Wine Cellar; I get "visiting rights". Heh...

Didn’t find what I am looking for yet, but these are certainly eye-popping!

What frustrates me the most is that conservatives can’t compete with the day-to-day talking points/narrative of the Marxist libs. True, Dems control the media, and Obama has the bully pulpit, but they have also mastered the sound bite. Conservative leaders have NOT.

IMO, our problem is not an ideological problem, as RINOs believe (move left). It’s a communications problem!!!

I’m sorry that I originally missed it, thouworm. I eat Bayer 325mg asirin by the handful and use ice-paks, so I’m smiling thru the aches and pains. Thanks for your kind words.

Sometimes I get frustrated with Rush’s flippant attitude towards serious callers. A 57 year old man just lost his health insurance precisely because of Obamacare and is being forced into a failure of a government program and all Rush can think of is to bash him for accepting charity and demanding thanks? We are all going to eventually be in the same boat as Obamacare progresses along.

I thought about plastic or silk plants (heh), but it’s hard to fake that sidewalk process.

the leadership

I think you just hit the nail on the head there. THE LEADERSHIP.....

I believe this latest Congressional Showdown has brought out new leadership for many Americans. I like what the bikers did. I like what the vets did. I like what the truckers and the people who join in on Overpasses to Impeach Obama.

IMO, WE are the leaders WE have been waiting for. Yes, that is an Obama quote, but I believe its relevant here. Recently, I have been following Dennis Michael Lynch as he is one American who is pissed off enough to not take no for an answer and will be releasing a movie called "We ride to DC".

OFFICIAL TRAILER v2: "WE RIDE TO DC"

As far as suggestions? We need to take this Party back. If RINOs want to act like Democrats, go join the Democrat Party. WE ALL need to get involved for 2014 right now. Find a local or county position that you can run for. Run for School Board. Run for School Superintendent. Run for City Council. Run for County Commissioner. Run for Judge. Attend Law School with the goal of being a judge placed on a Federal Circuit. We need MANY more conservatives in places of power.

I have posted many times on this thread with my disappointment in Rush's show. I realize that it is a personal disappointment, but I still wish it would change. I wish that even for ONE hour a week Rush would discuss in great detail what our GOOD GUYS are doing and who they are, even focus on one Conservative politician per week. He actually does this on his Facebook page. He trumps up the conservatives that are involved in current elections.

There is much discussion and examples given of LIBERAL EFFECTS of the legislation that Congress passes via news articles; I just wish there were more discussion about what is coming down the pike.

Far too many are, until it collapses under its own weight and waste, and all are moved to Gov’t NHS, like UK and Canada.

The 4th Box is coming.

Don’t doubt it for a minute, but would you not also agree that even we conservative “amateur” communicators -—(excluding myself, but many, many Freepers and alternative, conservative journalists) -—are far superior in that department than are our conservative leaders?

It’s drivin me nuts. As one example, they can’t even collectively understand and implement the concept of the broken-record method.

ARGH!!!!!!!

Why do you think Reid prefers CRs to actually having to publish a budget?
