Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul endorsed Republican Greg Brannon for North Carolina’s marque U.S. Senate race, giving the Cary physician’s low-profile campaign a huge boost.

“I enthusiastically endorse Greg Brannon for U.S. Senate because he’s a true constitutional conservative who will join me in fighting against business as usual in Washington,” Paul said in a statement Wednesday morning released by Brannon’s campaign. “Americans are looking for leaders who will honor their oath of office by fighting to ‘protect and defend’ the Constitution and Greg is the clear choice for conservatives in North Carolina.”

But what will he do in Washington, sit the fight out when Cruz and Lee stand up to really oppose Obamacare.

That’s what Rand Paul appears to have done recently.

Rand voted with our guys. Was he as vocal? No. But he did better than 90% of the others.

Maybe you should direct your anger towards the people truly responsible for this debacle.

Peter King
Nunes
Riggell
McConnell
Bohner
McCarthy
Cantor
Issa
Corker

The list goes on.

I won’t condemn Paul for that. It wasn’t winnable from the beginning. The timing of this last round wasn’t too sound.

And there will be other times and places to overturn it — amend it to death.

Let’s hope that’s not enough to override the fact that McConnell stabbed us in the back today. Obamacare is Mitchcare

Did Rand Paul have to ask Mitch McConnell first before endorsing?

Too much Cult of Personality with R Paul. Weak on Amnesty...not the leader like Ted Cruz

Sen. Rand Paul is hammering his fellow senators for keeping billions in financial aid flowing to Egypt’s military — even as Cairo’s security forces massacre anti-government activists.

[by “anti-government activists” is meant church-burning jihadists]

Rand Paul’s immigration speech

...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.

Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.

Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.

Let’s start that conversation by acknowledging we aren’t going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.

If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...

This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.

[but he’s not in favor of amnesty, snicker, definition of is is]

Its a big list that includes all but a handful of people.

Fewer than 16 were willing to challenge Boehner’s leadership earlier this year after the earlier debt ceiling hike.
