Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) has agreed to allow a vote in the House on the emerging Senate debt-ceiling deal, according to a Senate source.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) were racing Wednesday to put the finishing touches on the deal ahead of Thursday's deadline for raising the $16.7 trillion debt limit.

Sadly, you're almost certainly right.
I'm tired of this ... going to take an extended break and listen to something more intellectual like some recorded clips of Phil Hendrie Show callers and "guests" ...
The Republican party has eventually always allowed everything to pass that has gotten us to where we are today.
“The sequester cuts were retained! That is a GOP win.”
Wow, pretty thin gruel there...
The only ‘win’ I see is that we get to do it again in January.
"Thank you sir, may I have another?"
Tired of getting spanked just for being a member?
Me, too. F*** the GOP. I just registered as an Independent.
Once again .... the Democrat Party has proven their amazing ability to use manipulative leadership. And once again the Republican Party has proven their amazing proclivity to be a manipulated follower. This puppet-master really does excel at .... and truly is a master of his craft.
Stay tuned for:
1) Citizenship for illegal invaders who don't give a F*** about our Constitution
2) FREE health care for these new citizens (Obamacare)
3) Illegals turned Citizens get Obamacare where they register to vote as DEMOCRATS
Are they any good countries I can move to since Obama is allowing this one to be overrun by foreigners?
Spending held to sequester levels?
Never again will I vote for the “lesser of 2 evils”. Goin’ Galt.
Folding and self stacking, for the convenience of the RATs.
At best he could filibuster for 30 hrs or so, then its over with. I do not blame Cruz, he has done more to help the conservative cause than the entire Republican party has since 1988.
Guess they haven't gotten the message yet huh?
“Bonehead will forego the Hastert Rule and let the Dims votes count.”
Then move on to passing amnesty in the House with all of the Dhimms plus Cantor, McCarthy, Boehner, Ryan, and other Big Government Republicans despite the Republican majority overwhelmingly opposing it?
If so, Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy, and McMorris Rodgers, should be summarily kicked out of leadership.
Get the purple ink ready because there’s going to be a lot of angry voters next time.
I don't think so because the House and Senate GOP won't be battling among themselves this time.
I think everyone learned a lesson.
I think everyone learned a lesson.
I hate to say I told you so, but well, I told you so. Washington republicans caving in is as predictable as the sun rising in the east and setting in the west.
