Ok. So if the conservative choice loses in the Primary, it is 3rd party? Got it.
If the less than half a man gave one whit or two shita for his country, he would resign and let the secrets fall where they may. You don’t destroy your entire nation for the foreseeable future to save your own cowardly ass, and if you would deign to do that, then someone in your caucus, not to mention in your party, should take you out behind the woodshed and leave you for the rats. Literally.
A dictator is now officially in the white house. This is how dictators come into power. They always have most of the people supporting them. They don’t do it alone. Then after they’re in power those who put him there start to regret it. Unfortunately, everyone suffers and it’s hard to get a dictator out.
Actually, since I’m in my early sixties, I doubt any of this will hurt me much with the exception that the quality of care at the VA will go down. Death panels? I’d rather be sent home to die than to live in the future America.

I’m at the point where I’ll vote for a democrat who will look me in the eyes and say “I’m telling you the truth. I’m going to screw you.” rather than vote for a republican who will look me in the eyes, lie and say “Trust me. I really will vote conservative this time.”
