If Lonegan wins this, it will mean all of NJ has turned racist. </s>

Get a Democrat phone list, call them all and remind them to be sure and vote tomorrow. ;-)

Have you been down to Newark to check the turnout, or was it on local T.V.? If you actually went down there, I hope you wore body armor.

I am also expecting Newark to post a surprising vote for Lonegan. From the interviews I’ve seen, his constituents hate him.

The illegal and cemetary voters come out well after lunchtime.

Here's some New Jersey music from a classic Chuck Berry song for you Jersey folks to vote to...

"You Can't Catch Me" - The Rolling Stones

Here's the Jersey part:

"...New Jersey Turnpike in the wee, wee hours,
I was rollin' slow because of drizzlin' showers.
Here come a flat-top, he was movin' up with me,
Then come wavin' goodbye a little old souped-up jitney.
I put my foot in my tank and I began to roll.
Moanin' siren, 'twas a state patrol.
So I let out my wings and then I blew my horn,
Bye-bye New Jersey, I become airborne...."

(Vote early, vote often, become airborne...)     :-)

I remain optimistic, but I do remember the Markey/Gomez race. Very low turnout, and Markey won by just over 10%. Polls had predicted 13%.

However, Gomez was a fraud, so I doubt many turned out for him. Lonegan is the real deal, which could bring the race within reach.
Some strategist recently opined, if blacks don’t turn out, Booker is toast.
That’s another thing, ethnics play here much more than in Mass.
I think whites are more likely to turn up in a special election, especially one where Booker has been out of state when he should have been stirring racial hatred.

Booker has been out of state when he should have been stirring racial hatred.

If Booker manages to lose, that will be the sole takeaway for the Democrats, and they will turn the burner higher.

It’s an odd election day, without precedent in NJ history, so the polls should be viewed with a grain of salt. Nobody knows what the turnout electorate in a special election held on a Wednesday in October will look like.

“Let’s go, Conservatives... we always demand conservative candidates and make the claim they’d win if they’d get nominated... well, in NJ today and in VA next month, here are the opportunities to put it all to the test. You can’t get more conservative than Lonegan and Cuccinelli. There is NO excuse for sitting at home this time. Turn out and vote... ALL HANDS are needed!”

Just thought this needed to be said once again. Hope your post moves some people who otherwise may stay home/at work.

This will be a good test to see what our numbers really are.

And it makes me wonder whether this is the reason that Boehner has chosen to cave today (assuming those reports are true). Anything better than a 5 point loss would greatly strengthen Cruz' hand. But anything over a 12 point loss would weaken it (ordinarily this would be anything over a 15 point loss, but it is a special election where Republicans should do better). I can't help but wonder if the Establishment Republicans don't want the people of New Jersey to send a message that contradicts their purported strategy.

Here’s the direct link to the poll...

Right now Lonegan is winning but it could be from other states voting.

That thought has crossed my mind, too.

With Dims wanting - many demanding - the one year delay of 0Care and the wind at Bonehead's back...why on Earth would he capitulate so easily?? He's handing EVERYTHING over to the Dims, with this. Not to mention sending a deflating message to NJ. POS poser loser, he is.

Establishment RINO's would rather hand victory to Dims than have a Conservative wave take place in DC. A pox on ALL RINO's.

As long as they get to keep their DC perks, they're happy.
