No family to aid you?

Virginia is definitely not the place I would want to be. West Virginia would not be a bad play if things take a turn for the worse.

Calm down, I don’t think this will happen, unless I am drastically misreading the entire thing.
Lessons number 1, do not drop your life based on rumors of bad times. When bad times start coming, just move quickly.

With all that being said, if you don’t have family to round up or whatever, and want to avoid going north to WV, south is the best bet. The further south, the more Christians and militia folk there’ll be.
But for God’s sake be careful. Don’t think you can trust just anybody in a doomsday situation just because they smile and pray to Jesus.

Again, I want to emphasize, I DO NOT expect a default. That’s worst case scenario, and Obama would have to actively do it. If we pass the debt ceiling, there’s a million and one things to tear down in assets before you go to the default stage. Things like selling off the EPA’s capital and land. Obama would have to choose to default, and if he does that, then the FEMA camp stuff is true, and he’s planning martial law. Then get out.

If this did happen, I would hope we would all still be able to access FR somehow to lend each other a hand.

Fair enough. For the record, there is no family I can rely on to aid me, none at all. So that, unfortunately, is out. A couple things:

1. What is wrong with Virginia, btw? I know it is not great but I thought at least it is not as awful as New York, Mass or California. Am I missing something?

2. How would I know, if I did end up South, in say, Tennessee, Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Northern Florida, North Carolina or other such state, how would I know who is reliable? Would there be any ways to tell?
