“It is a game”

One that the PC GOP-e do not fathom.

They should’ve stated from the beginning that every time they hear the words no negotiations it would bring about further demands to de-fund other non-essential items such as entitlements and that non-negotiation was not a tactic to bring about consensus (bi-partisan or otherwise).

This was so simple and the effed it up again. They should’ve never stated that they were going to de-fund obamacare - after all, the best way to get a really bad law repealed is to let it go into effect fully.

I could get behind them stating that the ACA is not as it was written at the time of passage and that all waivers and/or subsidies need to be eliminated so that the law is in full effect. That way they wouldn’t be tinkering with it and could remain blameless for all of the bad mojo associated with the PPACA.

Other than prohibition, could you give an example?

I agree...let it go into effect. The Republicans can show they tried everything to get it stopped, and then when the people feel the pain from the prices and deductibles, they can say, hey, we tried but everyone demonized us. Even the O voters will feel some pain in this, when all they’ve had to do in the past was go to the ER. I think this will be the best thing that can happen, is let it go into effect...there’s going to be some pi$$ed off people...
