I was thinking as I watched the gendarmes march into the vet crowd at the WH and stand around ... only to be called away after about 5 or 10 minutes ....
Anyone with a megaphone should demand silence ... and then everyone shut up
Just shut up and stare.
No smart remarks ... no snide comments ... just glare at them.
The simplest maneuver can be the most effective. ... like asking ... " .. or what?"
Any way they answer “or what” will not be to their advantage.
They expect compliance,
and any show of aggression in the face of non-compliance will work against them.
I completely agree with this tactic. Should be used on politicians at public appearances, too.
