That's Dad's house; I'm retired at 63, and now live in a wonderful condo after 22yrs on a very large Family Farm operation.

I almost bought the farm at the confluence of the stream that flows through Falling Waters and the Youhioghenny river.

That confluence occurs at “Dimple Rock Rapids” which is a class 4 whitewater rapid.

We hit pinball rock and went right into dimple rock where the raft high sided and dumped me.

Last thing I saw was my son throwing the handle end of a oar to me and yelling DAD!!!!

I suggest every one go experience the Area.

The Falls stumped George Washington LOL

Absolutely a beautiful place.

Go fly fishing there too, it is Zen like.

They buy liquor, beer and cigs here in York-Harrisburg. “We Accept EBT” signs in all those stores.

SNAP and WIC have serious regulations of use.

It isn’t hard to do, if you do it right, the first time. If you skimp on sub-base and base, you’ll pay the price and have to dig-up, put in the correct bases, and relay all the brick/block. 90% of the hard work is underground and people only see the top 10% the walk on. The cuts are critical, too.

We’ve been to Ohiopyle many times—it is beautiful. They’re doing some construction there now (a new visitor’s center, I think) so it’s not as accessible.
