Republican Congressman Peter King said Monday it is time to take the gloves off and call out members of his own party by name, after a failed strategy to defund Obamacare appeared to diminish the GOP reputation in recent polls.
Mr. King, of New York, said hes not going to take it anymore and will freely criticize freshman Sen. Ted Cruz, Texas Republican, who led the drive to scrap the health care law as a precondition for a spending deal ahead of Oct. 1.
Ted Cruz and 30 or 40 people in the House. We have to start going after him by name. Its really time to speak out against him, Mr. King told MSNBCs Morning Joe.
He also said President Obama should be playing a more aggressive role as the leader of the country in talks to end the government shutdown and raise the debt limit.
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Florida Democrat, told the program there is a shorter route to consensus.
Get all of the Democratic and Republican women in the House in one room, and we would get this done in a few hours.

Gee, I wonder if anyone will remember Peter King years from now?
Guaranteed they will remember Ted Cruz, the guy who messed up the running elite.
Move King’s desk across the aisle.
Wrong Mr King, we will be supporting Mr Cruz. But thank you for self identifying as part of the opposition.
“He also said President Obama should be playing a more aggressive role as the leader of the country in talks to end the government shutdown and raise the debt limit.”
Another “republican” teaming up with Barry. At least it’s clear who’s side he is on.
That’s fine, Pete. Naming names is a game we know how to play.
King will be out soon!! Go get him, Tea Party PATRIOTS!!!!
Just start calling him Peter King, liberal Democrat from NY.
Funny, the first CR did not fund 0bamacare=success
The last CR required 0bama to register for 0bamacare (which will never happen). That CR was not passed by the Senate
The Senate is responsible for the shutdown and accountable for the results.
0bamacare is not funded, and the Government is operating under a Balanced Budget framework.
Smells like success to me

King has delusions of grandeur. Politically he’s never leaving Long Island. He’ll be lucky to keep his district in the next go round.
Awwww, what’s the matter Petey? Nobody paying any attention to you? Well here’s a clue Bubba, it doesn’t matter how outrageous you go, people still don’t like you.
Bammy is a passive aggressive much of the time. Extremely aggressive.
King is apparently a retard.
No missiles for Obama though, eh rep. King?
Peter Ling is rapidly becoming irrelevant. No way in ‘H’ will he ever get my vote. Too much of his mask is now gone.
We see him for what he truly is.
...chrrrrrrk... Earth to King, Earth to King, we hold the launch sequence, if you wish to get back down to earth, stop F-ing with the controls... you could be Lost In Space forever... over!...chrrrrrrk...
Ted Cruz Ping!
If you want on/off this ping list, please let me know.
Please beware, this is a high-volume ping list!
Hmmmmm ....... How ‘presidential’.
With Obama’s setting precedence, King fits right in their camp.
I think I’ll send that to him
